Again I disagree with your assertion that people are not generally prosecuted for lying on their gun purchase form. Yesterday I reported Dan Bongino’s statement that many young black men are in prison for this exact crime. As a former Secret Service officer, he’s in a position to know. Your friend Mark Levin has also asserted that many people are prosecuted for this crime. As the former chief of staff to an attorney general, he’s also in a position to know. In a more general sense, I’ve never heard the ATF described as being tolerant of “minor paperwork” crimes. As we speak, the ATF is acting against many firearms dealers for the most trivial paperwork errors. I doubt the ATF is forgiving when it comes to lying on the ATF paperwork.

Yup, I enjoy listening to Dershowitz but also find myself totally flumoxed by his irrational and illogical defensive statements in favor of his favored people and views. (Pro Democrats, Pro Biden, Anti 2nd Amendment, Pro Roe v Wade, etc.). IMO, Dershowitz is a famous biased defense attorney that interprets the constitution mostly fairly but also mostly in a way consistent with his bias and occasionally in ways that appear inconsistent with many folks (conservative folks I suppose) view of the constitution. So, my suggestion is not to fall too in love with his defense of Trump, because many of his arguments and positions on other matters are either non-sensical, or at least inconsistent with a literal interpretation of the constitution. Most of us (and for sure myself) are not legal experts so we don't know when Dersh is blowing smoke. Consider that IMO Dersh is fundamentally anti-2nd amendment, pro Roe vs. Wade and good golly listen to him say that Biden's possession of secret documents was "the same as Trump's possession". Given those troubling positions, how do we know his views in defense of accused criminals like Trump are actually "accurate" or fully supported by rationale interpretations of the constitution. So, yeah, it is fun to hear him defend Trump but be very careful about blindly supporting him due to his support of criminal rights in a way that has been supportive of Trump.

A self (Biden) pardon would be chalanged in the Supreme court. Richard Nixon had Gerry Ford give him his pardon, calculating that a self pardon would be struck down. There is no precedent for a self pardon and there is a stipulation that he cannot pardon for an impeachment. Biden (Joe) will be fully exposed to Hunter and James Biden testimony in his crimes.
