Will Clark was 3-4 seasons away from the HOF. He hit over .300 for his career. He amassed a lot of great stats. In my book, he is a HOFer. He was an enjoyable player to watch. I was and am a Dodgers fan. But I respect his game.

I got to meet Will back in 1987 when my father was the Giants hitting instructor. I was 15 and remember having a short conversation with Will about his stint in baseball. All of this while he was on deck, and I was a bat boy during a game in San Francisco. Watching this video bought back old memories.

Will was always my favorite player. I loved his swing. It just looked so easy and natural. As a lifetime Cards fan, seeing him in a Redbirds jersey was really cool.

As a life long Giants fan I can't thank Will enough for the memories he's provided. My favorite was his first game and watching him treat Nolan Ryan like an average pitcher, it was awesome to watch. I've been to a few games watching Nolan pitch at Angels stadium and he was in a league of his own and to watch Will take Nolan deep as often as he did was just amazing.

I really enjoyed this 3 part series on Will The Thrill. He was my favorite player growing up and I enjoyed watching him play throughout his career. Not being in the Hall of Fame isn't right. He was one of the most dominant and clutch players of his era and I think he deserves to be enshrined. Well done on the production of this series. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Can't believe it took me 7 years to finally see it.

I was fortunate enough to have covered Will during his years as a Giant at Candlestick Park I remember doing post game interviews with him at his locker and he while he was intense he could say some funny stuff to loosen up the interview between him and the press. My greatest memory of Will was when I got to interview him during that division clinching game in San Diego in 1987 just before he dropped those F bombs on live TV that was the craziest celebration I can remember in any clubhouse that I covered. Why the Thrill is not in the Hall I'll never know.

Grew up watching Will the Thrill...I don't think I ever saw a more beautiful swing, or a more clutch hitter than this man....Maybe Derek Jeter in a distant second.

You are entitled to your opinion but you would be in the tiniest of groups who would think that. Will is a family man first but he is also determined and loved baseball. No one could force him to quit if he wasn’t ready.

What a class act. I miss Will Clark... I miss baseball in the late 80s. So many young talented hitters back then; Canseco, Barry Larkin, Bonds, Bonilla, Joyner, Sierra, Eric Davis, Darryl Strawberry, Bo Jackson, Ken Griffey Jr, Mark McGwire and on and on.
