This is one of my favorite spots to fish in and is a place of many good memories me and my mates have made over the years fishing and swimming in the summer, it's going to be so sad to see this natural beauty turn toxic

I agree mate, I have been going down there now for more than 20yrs. I often take rubbish up with me and try to look after the place. Now no matter what any of us do, we can't fix this mess. It's a disgrace that the government can do this to our waterways and without even a say from the public. They promise it won't change a thing, I will remember that...

I wish they had let me record our convo it was pretty funny, I asked them if they would be happy to swim in it once the work was completed. They said "yes definitely, it won't be any different" I said "no worries email me when it's up and running and I will meet you there for a swim, keen to see it"... I didn't get much of a response to that one 😅🤣

Good to see you are keeping an eye on it. If the EPA or other relevant authorities have approved the outflow then there isn't much we can do...sadly. But no. I don't want recycle water or sewerage discharged into river systems

Yeah unfortunately it seems like these agencies, like the EPA are turning a blind eye or couldn't care less... I will definitely be keeping an eye on this and giving updates on the channel. Yeah I honestly just can't believe they are getting away with it... Once the damage is done it will be basically irreversible...
