@@MP_Fishing_ don't know if it'll work for those followers but, I ran into some fish last year that were short striking a paddle tail swimbait that I was fishing. In the situations where I missed the hook set on the first bite that I could get them to fully commit on the next cast if I retrieved the bait just a little bit faster. My thinking is that with less time to inspect the lure and less time to think about whether or not it's real and whether or not they want it, it triggers their predatory instinct and they'll just run it down and clobber it without thinking about it. I managed to get at least one example of this working on film if you want to see exactly what I mean. Anyway, like I said, don't know if it'll work for those followers but it's worth experimenting with different retrieve speeds if you haven't already.

@@OkanoganSwimbaiter i will definitely have to try the retrieval speed thing and see what happens. Iv caught em on 6” baits so really tryin to get em on bigger
