@@susiex6669 The GOP had control of the House, the Democrats controlled the Senate & the White House. I think you could say that more about the GOP than the Democrats, to be quite honest. Kamala Harris was absolutely stupid to not distance herself from Biden, but even repeated the same garbage over and over. The problem is that even with the genocide, Netanyahu wanted "45-47" to win. That's saying something. If a war criminal who's perpetuating genocide against the Palestinians wants a particular candidate, you have to ask yourself why. There were many people who voted for Harris that did so not because they support the on-going genocide, but believed that this vehicle was the best one to stop it sooner after the election and one that would at least be receptive to preventing Israel from annexing the West Bank. Yes, you can say that they're not doing anything to help the Palestinians--nearly next to nothing, I might add. The "humanitarian aid" that's going into Gaza isn't significant at all. This incoming administration plans on continuing to punish the Palestinians, and will try to prevent us from speaking out and supporting them. Heck, Gorka and Huckabee deny the existence of Palestinians to begin with. On top of that, we lost all the cards we had to play, since there's no one in the administration that's going to give an once of care for the Palestinians, Lebanese, Iranians, Syrians, Iraqis, or even Americans for that matter. This is a pro-Israel, Israel-first, Make Israel Great Again, incoming cabinet administration. Even worse, some of the people that marched with us on behalf of Palestine now feel betrayed, don't want to work with us, and don't want to hear from us again. It's great shame. We have work to do. But we won't give up. God bless the Palestinians.

I don't expect Donald to be better... I expect the people to be better. I was in my first year of college when the september 2001 attack happened. I opposed the military intervention that year. Most of the nation supported it... but by 2004 there were peace protests. But then the 2008 election happened, and the peace protests disappeared, because "Barack is better than X republican", and even though the wars continued there were much fewer of us opposing the invasions. Look at the last year... Democrat state governors and city mayors sent police to stop protests against the democrat president. Compare that to 2020, when the same governors and mayors kept Donald from doing the same things. I don't trust him further than I can throw him. He's a television star. For the record I am in agreement with most of what this Imam is saying, like me I believe he is only cautiously optimistic, about what Trump will do, unlike some of the people and Muslims who are giving Trump much praise,as if he will change the world, i too did not take kindly to Kamala saying everyone has a right to be heard, yet not allowing anyone for Palestine to be heard, saying Israel has a right to defend itself, and quite, cold heartily, did not lay out a plan to end the genocide against, innocent civilians, among other important issues,she failed to properly address, but we are not blind to the fact that Trump, truly unhinged,and sometimes he speaks insanity, for example look at the people he has chosen for his cabinets, some who are criminals, much like himself.

Humanity is dying in Palestine every day and every night, hundreds of times, over and over. But this is also the only place where humanity is still alive, after countless crimes against it. I could never imagine if people could be so cruel.

Oh, people can be cruel, all you had to do is watch the war in Syria, did you watch it?

Fact is Trump emerges as more inclined to 'finish the job'and still we persist in our beliefs that one of these enemies will have a change of heart.Time for muslims to get real.

I agree with that. That is why they should've voted for Jill Stein. They have to make a 3rd option viable by repeatedly voting for the Green Party.

I am a Muslim, Black female who’s a registered Republican… hearing Trump say he wants peace solidified my initial opinion on who I’m voting for.
@yung788Ай бұрын
He doesn't want peace. He took 150m from Mariam Adelson. Adelson is an extremist, read up on her. Look at his cabinet appointment. All radical Zionist. Some of them don't even believe Palestinians are even a real people. Look at the Israeli politicians celebrated. I don't think anything good will come from this at all. When a dog shows you who they are, believe them. I don't blame Sami for not knowing this, after all he is not American like us. You should've voted for Green if you cared about Gaza or the Ummah.

Gaza was not a major issue in the election, it was among the least , per se . Trump's been vocal on his support for Israel and Netanyahu's plan . Kamala Harris and the Dems lost the election because of the economy, most Americans believed that the country was going on the wrong direction. Another major issue was the border security. The Dems focused their campaign entirely on Roe V. Wade , this didn't resonate with most of the voters .
@prowest6715Ай бұрын
You might think or believe that, but Sami quoted/named several sources who said Gaza was a deciding factor.
