did you know that Will Smith committed and was arrested for aggravated assault against his record producer, William Hendericks. It left the man partially blind in one eye. The case was dropped because fame has its privileges. And Chris Rock suffers from Nonverbal Language Disorder (NVLD), which is close to aspergers. He struggles with reading social cues or knowing when someone is mad at him. He admitted this last year, and is in therapy to help him process those situations. Its good to hear BOTH sides sides.

Many years ago prior to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air it was Will Smith's bodyguard who was doing his job protecting Will when this unknown producer tried to attack Will and the body guard "Charlie Mack" beat his a**. In some states its the law if you employ bodyguards you have control over their actions and deemed responsible. The producer attempted to sue Will but he was broke at that time .

Usually the further we get away from a negative event, the less painful it becomes (whether emotional or physical). For myself, I cannot claim this to be the case in the matter of what Will Smith did to Chris Rock. Although days have passed, I find myself being even more sad and angry. I've been envisioning the slave master beating a black slave because he didn't appreciate what the slave had done and afterward simply adjusting his coat and tie and going on with his day eating dinner with his family, laughing and talking as if he hadn't just beat another human being and as if he had the right to. My soul is comparing this to Will striking Chris on that world stage and then straightening his suit coat as he walked away with a smirk on his face as if he had the right to do what he just did and then retaking his seat and going on to win the top award of the night and then partying as if he hadn't just beat another human being and as if he had the right to do so. Perhaps I'm way out of line comparing these 2 situations but it's how I feel. Not that it matters in the least but I will never again hold any respect for Will Smith. I'm so sad and yes, angry at what he did on that stage. My heart and soul hurts for Chris and for we, black people and I pray that Chris will heal from this trauma and the emotional scars this event will surely have on his soul and psyche.
