@@HVNI it can't be used as a straightforward measurement since the machine is on a hinge which isn't the same for everyone. The machine also depends on the users body weight as well as position while seated. Next time you use it just see how different sitting towards the weights vs sitting near the fulcrum. Its a world of a difference and hurts just as good either way. Free weights and standing calf raise machines are the only realistic method of comparing calf strength.

@tomereitan1052 жыл бұрын
@@HehehexDD It is how it works for push exercises because that's how physics work, when you push something it pushes the same amount of force onto you. With that in mind think about a lightweight guy trying to push a big heavyweight guy, the heavyweight guy is always going to have a huge advantage and will most likely win even when most of his weight isn't from muscle tissue. That's why strength is usually measured by bodyweight.

@petesqwad47572 жыл бұрын
@@HehehexDD You've complete missed the point. Being big isn't about the moment of the lift it's about the fact that 600lbs wasn't that much for him because (spit ball) he's carrying 4-500 lbs on his legs at all time anyway. It's got nothing to do with stability and everything to do with the fact that fat people develop strong legs because they carry themselves around all day. Free weights or leg press your average fat guy will do better than your average skinny/standard weight guy.

I have been following tutorials for a month now still the same streak of losing. 'n Tutorials alone won't help, you need to improve your knowledge about it or seek help from experts, that's the only successful way.

That deadlift guy looked too small to lift 475 pds Impressive and as usual another banger from will
@bigsam51712 жыл бұрын
He was strong af for a smaller guy
@ConnorLipke2 жыл бұрын
He wasn't that small lol, and 475 is not that heavy for someone who competitively powerlifts. Will lifts for content and physique purposes, but that guy likely has a coach and proper strength specific programming. His actual max of 565 or whatever he said, impressed me much more than him moving 475. Probably close to a 3x bw deadlift, would put him in elite range for most weight classes.
@keegxz2 жыл бұрын
@@ConnorLipke He's wearing GBT shorts and in a anytime fitness probably just runs Russ's program or some other powerlifting one. 565 isn't a crazy number you need a coach for
@ConnorLipke2 жыл бұрын
@@keegxz At that body weight you do lol. That puts him at international elite for the 165lbs bw class in the USPA. Literally an elite deadlift. That doesn't happen at that bodyweight without a coach.
@keegxz2 жыл бұрын
@@ConnorLipke No you do not. The 74kg tested record is 725. People get by perfectly fine with CBB, Sheiko, etc. Just because you have an elite” lift doesn’t mean you automatically have a coach. The deadlift is also the lift a lot of regular people find themselves excelling at. Plus the USPA elite deadlift is 569 and he might not pull that on kg plates either. Elite total is 1498, if he’s also hitting that total than there’s a high chance of a coach. But a heavy deadlift, or one heavy lift, is in no way indicative of having a proper coach or not.
