Will’s mom is genuinely good at acting. Some KZbinrs have skits that turn out awful due to bad acting, but Will and the gang pull it off. They’re clever, which helps, but being able to actually act really brings it home. Well done!

I was a kid in the 90s/early 2000s, and I can remember my mom CONSTANTLY drinking slim fast. 25ish years later… she’s still struggling with her weight. When i gained a little weight in my mid-twenties, I thought weight loss looked like what my mom did way back when… obviously, this isn’t the case. So thankful for channels like this that model healthier eating/exercise habits… I would’ve never gotten to where I am today (40+ lbs down, well within my healthy weight range for my height and age) without them.

My mother also did the cabbage soup diet. But the version she was doing included meat, so it had more flavor and protein. She ate a bowl as an appetizer before family meals, so that significantly reduced her "normal food" and calorie intake. I think that is more sensible than to just eat cabbage water the whole day.

When my mom found out, which thankfully was sooner rather than later, she had a sit down with me and explained it to me, I was probably ten or eleven at the time.
