Finally I found a rebuilder that uses a Vice and unloads the brushes tru the windows. I have a Starter, Generator shop here in Kansas and see a lots of older units. Great video.

I saw that the two hubs inside the spring, has a slot in its face to face. What for? I supose the power is transmited by the spring. So what the purpose of the slots inside?
