Hey Gibby. Just referring back to this particular video. Just dissembled a vent window assembly for my 61. I had to replace both doors when I had bodywork and paintwork done. The body shop guy reused the two vent window assemblies outta of my old doors. Problem with that is he didn't bolt down the lower bracket on the division bar inside the door. I had this annoying rattle when driving the down the road. So further exploring I was beginning to understand why the dude didn't fasten down the lower brackets?! The windows didn't roll down all the way??!! I was kinda mad. So I'm rebuilding the vent assembly that come out of the replacement door. For what ever reason the ones currently in there are either bent or distorted somehow??!! I don't know. I'm will see if my plan works?! Lol!! Thanks for the detailed videos sir it helps alot!

Nice red truck! I like your other one in the garage too. The ranch truck I have is a 1963 Chevrolet C10 fleetside pick up. I plan on getting it on the road. I can see what I need to do and where I can get some motivation to get it done. I have another 1957 Chevrolet stepside 1/2 ton truck. I sat through four of your videos, and its late tonight. But I am in the garage cleaning up before I start getting my 57, going through it to get it done by summer 2019.

Can I pick your brain a bit? I have a 62 and I’m currently doing the same thing. A few questions I have are when ordering the felt. There’s with or without metal frame doors, what’s the difference there? Also I ordered some felt already but it didn’t come with the felt to insert into the wing window section. It just came as one fairly long piece. I am starting with nothing to really go off of and I don’t consider myself to be a mechanic haha. Im just trying to put together something someone ripped apart years ago and left it to sit. Thanks for your help and time. If you have part numbers that would be great. My doors are identical to yours.
