8.1 is a monster for my PC like when I just turn on the PC after 5 to 8 seconds it just open! And in windows 10 it takes between 15 to 25 seconds!

@@EngiNetion it's fast, it's light, it runs really well on HDDs, meanwhile windows 10 struggles to run on HDDs (and if it doesn't it will slow down over time), it uses less RAM than windows 10 does, there is bloatware but you can get rid of it

@@Ares-hr3cv for me w10 is always a nightmare. I mean I like the look of it, especially the dark mode, but it is slow. I mean really slow. A fresh installed w10 boots about 1.5 minutes while w8.1 boots in about 30 sec. Even this happens on an old configuration and a mid range pc. So I use w8.1 until 2023. BTW great video ☺️

All it needed was Classic Shell to get the Windows 7-start button style and all is good! 8.1 was almost a perfection if only not for the metro start menu

My main family pc runs windows 10 which has been a buggy mess. I have been testing 8.1 for 2 months on spare pc and let me tell you, it has been hassle free and lightning fast with same specs running win 10. I am going to rip out win 10 and put 8.1 in its place. Just look at the recent June 2020 update...what a freaking mess!! We are Guinea pigs for Microsoft using win 10. No more.

Bhaiya, Mere paas ek Dell ka laptop hai Inspiron 3520 wala Processor pentium silver N5030 and RAM 4GB. Woh maine 2021 me kharid kiya tha with Windows 10 version 2004 and MS Office Pre installed. Lekin uss waqt se yeh laptop me kaafi saare masla ho raha hai jaise CPU 100% hamesha. Aur Google chrome open karne me kabhi kabhi crash ho jata hai. Fir 2022 me maine iss ko Windows 11 me upgrade kiya .... and same problem and moreover I dont like Windows 11 UI. Fir maine Windows 10 install kiya lekin iss baar Windows 10 ka pehla version jo 2015 me release huwa tha....kaafi behtar hai woh version lekin driver support nahi hai Display driver aur Touchpad driver pe khaas taur par masla aa rha tha ... FIr maine wapas Windows 11 me chale aaya... To agar mai Windows 8.1 me downgrade karu to driver compatible rahega kya? Bhaii please bataein zara

Bought a new pc R5 3500x 6core 8gb ram B450 m2 max motherboard But still facing issues in windows 10 may be it is unstable should I go with windows 8.1, I have used it earlier also in my old pc.

10 is just a blend of the classic shell and metro(design language of 8.1). The early version Windows 8 was not at all user friendly. At first, it felt to me like the Lumia. Had difficulty in handling it just after windows 7. 10 is better compared to it. Also 8 didn't have the start button. It appeared on the right side on hovering the pointer

Bro , your specification meets all the needs of windows 10 to run smoothly .... but if you are trying to use your lappy to edit videos and play high end games , then it may be laggy cause 2 core processors can't handle that pressure.... so either you have to downgrade to win 8.1 or just upgrade your processor, everything will be sorted 😊

@@techhorizoner4411 That’s part of the case to why it’s laggy, the main issue was with how much bloatware there was in 10 compared to 8.1, 8.1 or 8 had fewer bloatware than 10 did which made 10 REALLY slow.
