That would be cool. I think it would be interesting to see the similarities between Cisco IOS CLI and Linux CLI given that Cisco is based on Linux(?). I'm currently using Boson Exsim to help study for the CCNA. One of the sim questions had a part that required determining which ports on a switch are access port. After searching the web I realized I could use an "or" operator inside parentheses with an include statement to more easily grab the info I needed: Switch1# show interfaces switchport | include (Name|access)@@EastCharmer

That would be cool. I think it would be interesting to see the similarities between Cisco IOS and Linux command line given Cisco is now based on Linux from what I read. I've been studying for my CCNA and after a web search found I could use an "or" operator with a pipe 'include' statement in Cisco to quickly grab the info I needed rather than have to look through multiple lines. Example " Switch# show interfaces switchport | include (Name|access) " to see which ports were in access mode.@@EastCharmer

I created a bat script where it pings continuously if the host is up i would get a notification from ntfy server, its good if your away in the field heading to support said offline system, then suddenly its just a sudden hiccup of a switch or a router, notification receive its up then call station whats up, is it good then you can go back quarter to your destination saved gas saved mother earth 😂
