Imagine going abroad to visit your in-laws and suddenly being told you have no right to go back to Britain because of a mistake in your passport.

That's what happened to Richard Black, who went to Trinidad almost 40 years ago to see relatives and has only just won his battle to be allowed to return to the UK.
But like so many families separated by the Windrush scandal, the nightmare continues.
Mr Black's daughter, who was born in Trinidad while he was stranded, is being denied the same right.

It makes me feel emotional to learn that many family suffer and lost their rights and love for their family and friends.

This actually tells you a lot what Home office thinks a Brit should look like. Unbelievable and telling!

I M a Windrush person and claimed my citizenship since the 80s. Those who didn't claim thought the UK owns them. Didn't apply that's why they're in limbo and deported live by the land laws and you will be OK

I can kind of relate. My family, with London roots going back centuries, were moved out of SW London, back in the early 60's, and relocated to the home counties, because "there was no housing available in London" Coincidentally, happened around the time all the windrush people started arriving,

Also, coincidentally London Council moved many people out of London to make way for the property boom, they didn't really want council homes in London, they could make way more cash with houses for people working in London, not council houses, unfortunately it sounds like you was a victim of your heritage, just like these guys, moved just because you couldn't afford to say no, these people were brought to our country for their skills, to help rebuild our country after the huge depression after the war.

The indigenous population of London at the time are the forgotten victims of the Windrush generation yes they had to move out because of the Jamaicans unacceptable behaviour so like yourself many people had to re-relocate I know and elderly couple relocated to my village in the 2000s. When I asked him why did you move out of London the answer to many Caribbean’s. It just goes to prove the wind rush generation has had a lasting affect for British people. Let’s just spare for once I thought for the British population for what I have been through.

But losing British passport doesn't necessary mean you lost your citizenship. Odd

Do not comply,. No to vaccine passports, no to mandatory vaccines. No to masks, no to tests, a total disgrace.
