Aside the display of skills, there are some great pearls such as the comment about practicing progression from drills to playful sparring before try to apply in hard sparring! It's a really good advice! Jeff, good stuff as always! @KevinLeeVlog cheers from a Wing Chun Sanda fellow from Brazil!

Kevin Lee has also done a lot great work recently with videos featuring traditional Chinese martial arts like Shuai Jiao, Taijiquan, Baguazhang, Hung Gar, and Bajiquan! It's so cool to see someone who is so experienced and skilled yet still humble and open-minded! 🙂

Kevin Lee is an absolute sponge when it comes to the fighting arts. Hard to tell in video but I can tell that if show this man a technique one time, later that day he'll do it just as well if not better. Absolutely goated as a student.

Great job! First off, give respect to all participants here. This was the retreat in the summer in Greece. Training in that hot weather is a lot. Next, just great to see Kevin learning new combos here. Shows that even with his years of experience, you can a,says learn something new. Finally excellent coaching from Jeff. Excellent job all around 😊.

I really like the exit that comes with that double step kick, but I'm curious how much power does it have on it? Is it more of a scoring technique, or something that's going to do some damage after getting it off a few times? Obviously there's all of the forward momentum that comes with it, but the angle looks like it's not going to be a solid hit to me. And I worry about running into a cross or a hook with my head that far forward, especially if I miss.

@@MMAShredded Thank you 🙏 I watched the whole video and that makes a lot more sense. You didn't touch on getting countered with a heavy punch that you're stepping into though, assuming your opponent can pick up on the pattern of the kick. Didn't realize I've been doing that double step kick to the hamstring of an orthodox opponents leg for some time now though 😅 Really like using that kick.
