Great playing Winston. I think the match was very competitive despite the final score. Great rallies, the forehand is a weapon and the improvement on the backhand is very apparent over recent videos! Definitely doesn't work that way. Changing a stroke after 20 years takes a LONG time and Winston has been making progress, but nothing is quick in tennis.

@@AdamLischinsky I've been playing tennis for 40 years. It worked for me, and it has worked for people I know. Winston got some coaching from Karue, and there were some apparent improvements not long after. Everyone is different, and you don't know how easy or not it is to change until you try.

Could watch and learn from Patsy for days. She is so balanced, great footwork and excellent shot selection. Very smart choices and varied her shots from high looping deep balls to heavy lower flat balls. Kept Winston off balance most of the time.

Hello Winston, Your channel is great, you are doing a wonderful job of presenting interesting matches on KZbin. I would suggest using your UTR score which is 7.93, instead of describing yourself as a 4.5 NTRP player. Most of the players on your channel are identified by their UTR which is great. The UTR system is far more accurate because it is based on current tournament results, and it takes into account not just matches won but also sets won and games won.

Its strange because in Australia who are using UTR more and more, his would barely be a 7.0 and I think hers might barely be an 8. Not saying they're not good, just that the comparisons are a bit off.

The UTR system allows for a competitive match within plus one and minus one points. For example, Winston would be competitive with any player rated 6.93 to 8.93 because he is currently 7.93. So it is definitely possible for him to have a competitive match against someone rated below 7.

Great match this was awesome to watch my dude! I just wanted to share a tip I learned about the serve, you have to keep your head up and watch the ball come of the racquet and keep your head up after contact is made, also don’t look at the net when you serve look at the fence and look at the fence, where you are going to serve. It has helped me get way more first and second serves in. As you probably know I practice my serve a lot and post my training on here. I am excited to get my new racquets soon. I demoed the Blade v9 98 and that racquet is badass! I also was hitting with the Yonex Encore 98 and it was very nice. I like the stiffness in the Blade. Do you have a preference for stiffer racquets, and stringing patterns? I have been watching play for over a year, and I just was curious what you think about the racquets I mentioned? Thank you for posting this video my dude.

My observations: Both players need to work on first serve consistency. Winston needs to develop offensive down-the-line shots on both forehand and backhand sides. (BTW, he was getting hurt but hers). Not sure why Patsy describes herself as an aggressive net player? I only remember her coming to the net twice during the entire set. 🤔
