Winter time has a beauty that rivals that of summer! Great information and skills for winter camping. You covered just about everything, even making your sleeping platform above a low spot to trap the cold dense air. When sleeping in or on snow, I love to pour boiling water in a good water bottle and place that in my sleeping bag. Stays warm and toasty all night. I also like to use small snow pickets made from plates of aluminum with cord attached to anchor my shelter. You can make a deadman anchor with the picket and attach the picket to a corner of your tent. This type of anchor will not move or budge in the wind. Thank You for the video.

Reminds me of Undermilk Wood by Dylan Thomas.... What is there here to feast a poets eyes... What is it but ragged earth again the ragged skies.... The beauty of Winter and all it brings will forever be with me. May it be a river and its scaping of the snow or a Mountain with it waterfalls where ever they are may be there is always beauty for one and all to see. A beauty that has been gifted to us by God and it is there for generations to to come so we have to protect it and its nature. Vanessa i thank you and i am proud to know you not only as a human being but the way you make it look and sound so amazing... Thank you and stay safe and well in all you see and do... What beautiful country. I love winter and snow even though I live in the desert these days. So happy for your recovery. Youong and tough. No more ticks please. Cold, windy and rain, there is nothing better outside. Ah, sarcastic humor, that shows style. You were so lucky that those little tent stakes kept the tarp in place. You don't get the creme del la creme but necessity is the mother of invention. Good job all around.
