3 or 4 crappie jigs tied in a row works well. A small spoon also works well. The trick is finding them... watch for them jumping. The travel in schools. Good luck !

Not much to them. Big hook, big chunk of meat, drop em down. I use a 40-pound braid. Good luck!

I think the setup I rigged is a 36” 40 pound leader with a 6/0 hook, 3 ounce sinker (I know I need to go bigger weight) on 80 pound pro cat braid as my main line w a 4000 size reel. Does that sound decent
