@@growtocycle6992 one of the reason why some people still won't recognize Serral as the best player of all time. When Serral wins, he destroyed his opponent, which is not very exciting to watch at all unless you are already his fan. But when Dark or Maru win, sometimes they would comeback from a huge deficit (because they are not as dominant as Serral) and that would make a lot of people fall in love with them.

Dark did some things that I've been theorycrafting for awhile with ZvT. He cut drones in the high 50's to 60's a couple times in order to make sure he had enough army to overwhelm and shut down Maru's pushes instead of just barely holding on and he was able to tilt the map that way. He also got creatively aggressive to punish terran greed a couple of times and he used nydus both offensively, defensively and in order to feint (he nydus'd the main and killed the gold base instead.) This is what the zerg meta has to be in ZvT right now (besides Serral, he just gets to be better than everyone.)

The Queens have been touched by the dark energy of the Medic Vampires; that's why they can heal a bit now. The Transports were utterly consumed by the Medics' insatiable and genocidal hunger. Its the same with Hero really, though i think of the two of them, Dark is the better player, because even in important games Hero just makes too many mistakes, i mean his walloffs (or lack of) have become a meme at this point and not without reason. Personally i think that he should just put a probe in his walls with a shieldbattery behind at this point. That way he at least has something in his wall, after he F2s.

I really don't know much about star craft 2, only started to look up beginner guides and such just so I can understand the lingo. But Dark by far is my favorite character/player of all time so far. And your commentary really helped me like him and understand him. Best player in the world by Dark, it's Dark! That's just so funny to me. Now the final boss is leaving due to required military service time. Rip. I'll miss watching him. Hopefully someone can take his place in the meantime.

Another amazing cast from Winter. Now, for the games themselves. Dark was so good, and the entertainment value he provided was immense. Maru must be pretty embarrassed, playing using the cheat race while considered the best (laughs in Clem and Oliveira) but still losing to a Zerg that's not Serral. But that's what you get from the most overrated player in the game's history. He is most likely still having nightmares of Serral. Now, if only they balanced Terran in this game, we may finally see Terran players finally learning how to actually play the game instead of relying on their cheats to force wins.

I think Maru might be one of the few players Dark has absolute respect for, given the way he plays against him. For lots of other players, Dark is willing to play up the memes and just kind of roll with it. But against Maru, Dark brings his most try-hard A-game. Game 1 was almost hilarious, but Game 2, wow. Not only was Game2 some of the best Dark gameplay I've ever seen, it might be some of the best ZERG I've ever seen. Really immaculate.

Its amazing how DARK plays such a different brand of Zerg and wins against the best Terran in the World. No doubt DARK is great, but I think it also has to do with the tournament style of the GSL compared to the oversee tourneys. You can really plan for your opponents styles
