idk man, all the bluetooth headphones i tried in the past has been overwhelmingly bassy and have little to no detail in the top end. recently i've been going back to wired headphones and i have 0 regrets. Sound quality of a 15 dolar wired headphone compared to a 100 dollar bluetooth one were equal imo. judging by price for sound quality, wired ones are superior.

Wired will always be miles better than wireless because you could buy a pair of $30 wired headphones and they'd sound way better than a $200 set of wireless earbuds. Plus, wired earbuds last longer than wireless ones. I've got a pair of Earpods that have lasted me more than 10 years. They still work well. You just can't beat wired earbuds.

I'm here because after buying my first pair of Bluetooth headphones I could hear the decrease in sound quality compared to wired headphones. I knew I wasn't crazy. If you're sitting still while listening to audio, wired headphones will provide a better experience, provided you select a good brand. If you're sitting listening to music, the best option is using In Ear Monitors (IEM). If you're on the go, walking around, doing physical tasks, then Bluetooth is more convenient and thus probably the better option.

Sennheiser makes great headphones and I recently found a pair of their bluetooth headphones with excellent reviews. They cost about $130, the model number is named Sennhesier HD 4.50 . Another brand to look into is Bose. If you're on a budget, look at Mpow headphones.

When shopping for bluetooth headphone, I would like to know how it sounds when bluetooth is off and just use wire. This is important to me because whenever practical I would like to use the cable for the following reasons: 1. Conserve internal battery power. 2. Conserve internal battery charging capability.. 3. If the sound, when wired, is as good as any wire-only headphone with similar price, then I only need one headphone for home use and for commuting.

One problem I've always had with wireless earbuds: They're tiny and easy to accidentally lose. My wired earbuds are always attached to my phone, so I always know where they are. Even if they fall out of my ear, there's a wire that prevents them from getting lost.

Wireless cons: a. You have to charge them everytime b. Having your mobile or laptop bluetooth on constantly drains battery faster. c. After so many charges, the wireless stop holding the charge, so you will need a new one in a year or 3 unless you know how to remove the battery or have money to throw away. d. Sounds horrible no matter how good the driver e. To travel, you have to pack an extra item which is the charging case with you and a CABLE to charge the case. f. Pairing to bluetooth takes 5 to 30 seconds or even longer if the wireless was turned off completely. g. you can't listen to radio since there is no cable for the antennae. h. Very expensive for mediocre sounds. Wired cons: a. It's not wireless (thank God)

Wired headphones are *much* better. First of all they have better sound quality, this alone should be enough to win the argument. Not convinced? Okay I'll give more reasons. Wired headphones work on every all devices that have a headphone jack, so basically everything apart from the latest iphones (removing the headphone jack is such a dick move, Apple). Wired headphones don't have to worry about battery life. Wired headphones also don't have a problem with being out of sync with the screen on your device.

Also to add, detachable wire seems to be the norm nowadays, so the argument "but the wires is going to fail" to take wired earphone down no longer works. Like, if the wire fail, then just replace the damn wire. Replacement wire isn't that expensive (except if you go for the likes of Lyre Acoustic White Lily, that damn thing does break the bank). Some earphones even come shipped with thick, damn strong wires (like that of Faaeal Hibiscus). My CCA C12 already got the wire replaced, but it's not because the wire failed. The wire is still good and working fine (after 1 year since the purchase) when I replaced the wire. I replaced the wire because I want more flexible and better looking one. Also, my phone has no 3.5mm port, but that does not stop me either. My phone uses USB Type C and able to take advantage of most USB DACs. I use with TempoTec Sonata HD. I also tried a Class-A DAC Port and Shanling UA1 before, all working well and fine.

Here is what I think: Wireless: pros: You have the freedom to move away from the laptop Small, light, easy to carry One less wire to put in the drawer Active noise cancellation Can listen while charging cons: Instead of 2 lose-able components (phone and headphone) now you have 4 (phone, either earpods, the case). Have to replace 4 batteries (phone, either earpods, the case) instead of 1 (phone). Not always easy to switch devices on bluetooth. Bluetooth is not ubiquitous, and you would have to buy an adapter for a device that doesn't have it. Super expensive even for the bare minimum Inconvenient controls (compared to big wired headsets) Bad mics. Solution to a problem that did not exist (Can listen while charging) Wired: pros: You will never lose your phone if it is plugged in and you are listening. No battery. Immediate device switching (USBC included). Not completely annoying. Works everywhere that has AUX 3.5. Better sound quality in every conceivable way. Better mics. Can take it off from one ear an not worry about where to put it. Can buy at cheap. Longer usage life if treated well. Can still work even if damaged. Cons: No freedom of movement from laptop Can get snugged on edges No active noise cancellation Can break and get cut Wires that annoy you. From what I see. Wired headsets have inconvenience as disadvantages, but wireless earpods on the other hand has reliability as disadvantages, features offset those disadvantages, but are they really worth 90$ for decent ones??? @@yab3146 Yeah AirPods last 24 hours (earbud + case), Bose QC 35 (20 hours), Sony WH-1000 (25 hours). He must be one of those people walking around with their phone at 10% all the time. Also Bose QC35 you can plug them in if the battery dies. Charging these things have never been an issue for me at all. And with wireless charging it's so easy to just drop your AirPods on the wireless charger when you get home. In fact for my gym earbuds I just leave them in the car connected to the car charger at all times. The drive to the gym, work etc easily charges up the case and earbuds. When I get to the gym I take the earbuds out of the case and I head in. Once I'm done I put them back into the case (still plugged into the car charger) and drive home. By the time I drive back to the gym (usually next day) they are fully charged and ready to go again.

What I dislike about the wireless Bluetooth headphones or earbuds is that they are quieter than the wired headphones and earbuds. The manufacturers did that on purpose to save battery power on the wireless headphones and earbuds. Take a look at the new M3 Macbook pros and the newest M2 Macbook air. They have a headphone jack, but iPhones don't. Biggest concern in my opinion is the health risk of bluetooth earbuds but on the other hand the wire really annoyes me sometimes and breaks far more easily... hard descision tbh

I am with the S20 fe 5g, is a nightmare with all the counterfeit products so I have to go to Samsung stores, which seem to have focused more in the wireless ones than the AKG tuned 3.5mm (with the adapter to usb-c) or usb-c. Besides it seems cables fail too much in samsung cellphones, so I am waiting for the buds pro which I got online.

I've tried using Bluetooth headphones and while I like not having wires its disadvantages don't make up for that one advantage. Among them: - Battery Life: While my Bluetooth headphones have okay battery life, it is a significant drain on the battery on my player. Three or four hours and my player's battery has dropped to half a charge. - Sound Quality: Due to the SBC codec used with my devices it impacts the sound quality of my files when I listen to them via Bluetooth. I rip everything as FLAC so I get Red Book CD sound quality, but by running my songs through Bluetooth I end up with the equivalent of MP3 sound quality. Okay, but not ad good as I want. Unfortunately, my Bluetooth devices only use the SBC Codec, although my player supports all of them except for AAC. - Sound Cutting Out: Even when I've not moving around sometimes the sound on my headphones just cuts out for second or two. - Special Effects: My player (a Sony Walkman NW-A55) has a number of sound processing features that enhance my listening experience. My favorite is ClearAudio+ which makes my music sound much better, but that is not available over Bluetooth.

Its crazy how wireless Headphones go for like 100-150$, while wired ones go for like 30-40$ while even being a lot better than wireless ones. I personally did a test like this as well some time ago, and im gonna be honest, I barely noticed a difference with the Music, however when watching Movies or playing Games, thats when the Audio compression from the Bluetooth Headphones really kicked in. So basically, when you are outside or walking around your House, I dont think it matters that much from the Audio Quality, however when your are sitting down in front of your PC to play some Games or watch a Movie, there isnt really any Reason why you would want worse Quality, and it even gives you disadvantages sometimes.

Wireless is bs for me. I like wires and dont hold anything against them. Wired is simpler to use, has faster response, doesnt need that annoying charging and smaller wired things such as earbuds are not as easy to lose as stupid wirless earbuds.

There is a small bit of misinformation in your video. There are wired headphones that also do ANC. You don't need to be wireless in order to perform noise cancellation they are independent features. For example check out the Audio Technica MSR7NC.

perhaps the Audio Technica ATH M50XBT. Not the greatest bluetooth/battery out there, but should be plenty for casual listening. Becomes an industry standard monitoring headphone when you use the aux cable option. Very detailed and pretty accurate. All plastic, but from hands-on experience, still feels sturdier than bose qc25/35 and beats studios.

That depends on a lot of things. For instance, you don't mention what your budget is. If I was just recommending a "best bang-for-the-buck" setup, I'd choose wired headphones like the HiFi Man HE-400i and connect them to a nice Bluetooth DAC like the FiiO BTR5-384K. It'd cost around $300 and sound better than any dedicated pair of Bluetooth headphones.

If you own an LG smart phone especially the G7, G8, V40, or V60....you have to get wired headphones. LG is probably the only smartphone company left who still have the headphone jack. LG phones have a KILLER DAC in them. It's a 32BIT QUAD DAC. Wireless...with this phone will not do justice to your music. You have to get a pair of WIRED headphones and once you plug them in.....man oh man... your music comes to life on the LG. Make NO mistake about it LG phones have the BEST DAC over any other phone and it's NOT even close. I have wireless and wired. My wireless are the Sony WF 1000XM3(the best wireless earbuds on the market) and B&W PX(headphones) which again are the top of the Food chain. So as you can see...these are NOT your run of the mill cheap earbuds and headphones. However...on the wired end I have the Shure 215sc(wired earbuds) and the PSB M4U2 headphones and when using my LG phone...these are the ones I reach for. The wired one's. My music sound so good that I hate to take them off. The wire is never a problem for me..because I run the wired under my shirt. Problem solved. That way the wire is not in your way. I just hate having to charge the bluetooth headphones all the time and with Bluetooth headphones...there is always a drop in your music.For me it's wired and MOST music PURIST would agree. I hope LG continue to keep the headphone jack and that 32 BIT DAC.

@@minhkhuong6132 I only use Wired earphones( I just feel the wired sounds MUCH better than bluetooth wireless). The ones I use are from Shure and they are fantastic!! They are also noise isolators which is very important for me. Go to their site...they also have wireless earbuds. They are not cheap...but they are the best. It would be hard to find earbuds wired or wireless that sound better than what Shure has to offer that's under 1,000.00 Good luck!

I'm old school! I'm sad that all these great things are going away soon. The jack, physical fingerprint scanner almost gone, the micro SD, Maybe wired charging too. That's why Galaxy Note 9 IS THE BEST Last flagship ever. The last greatest flagship to have all the Scanner, Iris, Sensors, JACK, Wired charging, The GOOD Display design without that f*cking nnoying notch. It was a generational pinnacle at the end. Samsung then stopped jack, sd card, added notch or punchhole display removed scanners, sensors. The old gold era's going away, i'll miss it so much! I'll never leave Beautiful Note 9 away The true note, Classic! It's still way more better than the MOST Of the phones of today.
