This looks glorious, especially combined with the wireless follow focus the shots you are getting are amazing. The timelapses impress me the most. I love making timelapses but the lack of camera motion in mine always makes them a bit dull. Maybe in a few years I can get something like this setup myself ^^

These are fantastic videos. Do you think it could be used for stop-motion animation? Could you put a set of moves in MotionX2, and then control it going from one step to another, in your own time (rather than a predetermined speed)? Eg, click move, click move, with however much time you need in between to change puppets movements...

What he doesn't mention in this very EXCELLENT video is that the standard S1 SLIDER is 31" long end-to-end and has ONLY a 25" SLIDING length (TOO SHORT!). BUT additional rails are included with the iFootage Carbon Fiber Shark Slider S1 BUNDLE, so the sliding length is increased to 47". Also, prices are MUCH higher now. The iFootage Motion Control S1A3 Bundle B1 DOES NOT INCLUDE THE SLIDER AND IS NOW $2,559. The iFootage Motion Control S1A3 [SLIDER] Bundle B1 is $633 (at B&H PHOTO).

Hey Andy thanks for reviewing these stuff. I own a ifootage shark slider and the motion controller. I absolutely love the stuffs. The best slider i've ever tested so far. Btw, i have a question. When you open the shark slider bag and mount it to the tripod i noticed the shark slider have a different head. Its like a quick release on a glidecam. Is this the new version of shark slider? I hope you have the time to answer my question. Keep up the good work!

Is it possible that you made a mistake at 1:55? You said that you could get it all together for $2689 but when I looked for that bundle it doesn't include the slider. Knowing that the slider itself costs $730 you would have to pay $3419 to get the same setup as you have. The price you mentioned is quite affordable but $3419 is a bit too much for me, tbh. Do you have any further information about this?

The shutter controller allows you to do long exposure timelapses? Coz I would think that if you do long exposure, and the slider is moving there would be blurring. Can you confirm? Thank you. Great video.
@PsychonautTV9 жыл бұрын
You've got the definition of exposure wrong in this tense.
@tyranasazi79519 жыл бұрын
+aim - EXTREME CSGO Movies I'm not sure what you mean but I meant that if you are doing a 3s exposure and during that time the slider slides a little, you will have blurry images. So my question was is there a conection between the slider controller and the shutter controller? Are they coordinated so that during the shot, the slider doesn't move. I think there is but I just wanted confirmation.

wonderful video. But we would like alto to know things besides marketing stuffs, like: - how strong is the motor? how many degrees of stepping can it climb? Does it have some counterbalance systema like the Mini slideder to help? - how smooth is the moving using only 1 tripod? - how many points can you memorize in the prerecorded movements? Just 2 or more? I ask, because what you show is exactly the same things showed for any slider like this in the market, but nobody, nobody talks about these topics, that are the most importat before to buy such expensive equipment.
