Wiring COMPLETED!!! Bike is Ready to Start! - 1991 FXRS Build Series- Ep.8

This is a BIG episode for our current #fxr build! In this video we get all the remaining bits and pieces on the bike to get it ready to start. We tackle the wiring as well as the exhaust, fluids, controls and everything else needed to complete this Harley on time! Again, this will be the perfect build series for someone looking to rebuild their Harley FXR, or any older Harley EVO for that point.

So glad to see the popularity of the FXR! I understand it was one Harley’s best handling bikes and cost more to make than it sold for. I didn’t understand why you broke it down to the frame but it looks beautiful going back together. Now I want one! Lol

The biggest reason was the condition of the motor and Trans. They needed painted real bad, so I figured if I was taking the engine out, might as well just pull the whole bike done to detail and reassemble. I’m happy I did. The bike was nice, but now it’s really clean and ready to be ridden another 40k miles

Man that front end looks ALOT taller than plus 2” sweet bike tho

Technically it’s more like 2.5” in the tube length, however the front end has nearly zero sag as well. It’s almost too stiff. I’m going to pull the gold valve and adjust them a bit, see if that gives the front end a little squat when the weight of the bike is off the kickstand

Just a standard lift from harbor freight with a trailer style wheel chock attached
