In one of the Witcher comics by CDPR it states that Vergen was destroyed and everyone was killed by Nilfgaard for taking up arms against them, and Saskia just goes on her own path eventually

Hmm, the idea that "royal" blood is somehow special and different from the blood of common people is pretty damn idiotic to me. I mean "Rulers needed exceptional resistance and strength to survive"??? reallyyyY???? haha wtf?! hahah. Pretty stupid, apparently monarchs in the Witcher universe have harder lives then common soldiers? And here I was thinking that the hard life of peasants or soldiers or knights even would make them more resilient but NOPE, snowflake peasants vs Rambo princes. :D - What would make much more sense to me is if Philippa actually wanted Stennis dead (cause she assumed he'd not volunteer to donate his blood and thus would have to brutalized a bit) so she invented the silly story knowing that he's the only royal there who's blood they can shed...
