Funny thing is I didn't know about the clone fight until recently either. I took the hint the game gives you about what symbol to find and avoided even touching the others because it screamed trap. Like he left a bunch of different symbols? And only one was meant to Ciri? Yeeeeeah... a mage isn't going to NOT make a few magical traps to discourage pursuers.

As someone who stumbled upon Fyke Isle without knowing what was happening on my first playthrough, thank you for the reminder of just how hilariously baffling it was. Walking through a building where things kept flying off the shelves, weird green mist everywhere, disembodied sobbing, and absolutely no indication as to why that was happening other than “tower’s fuckin spooky” was certainly an experience. When Keira eventually says to go check it out it was a real “ohhhhhh” moment for me. I also love the idea of Geralt strolling away from the hut, hearing blood-curdling screams from inside, and then just sprinting off into the trees like “this is fine, everything’s fine”.

I also stumbled across the island before completing Keira quests. Fortunately the quest forces meeting with Keira (you can meet with the nearby village folk who offer details) so it eventually makes sense. Witcher 3 attention to detail harkens back to Dragon Age: Origins.

OMG the hidden path when you save the peasant is mindblowing for me. The Witcher 3 is one of the unique game close enough to the concept of a real tabletop RPG. I know right? If the devs were given more time to finish Cyberpunk and if CDPR management wasn’t so shit, it could’ve been as good as The Wild Hunt. Like you can see that the devs actually cared about Cyberpunk with the attention to detail, animation, etc. but were forced to rush the actual game development.
@gerry37553 жыл бұрын

If Keira ends up with Lambert you can still buy alchemy products from her at Kaer Morhen and even tell her that the two, Lambert and Keira, are quite alike in personality and that Geralth thinks they'll actually do a good couple. In my second playthrough I too tried to do the things differently and I discovered something actually quite a bit disappointing to me. In the Keira's quest "Wandering in the dark", when you should protect her while she closes the Wild Hunt portals, appears her HP line. So she CAN die, run the thought through my mind. Of course I HAD to try this! So I tried, it was not so easy, because the hounds almost always targeted me. But I managed to! What happened then is actually strange. I tried to throw a dimeritium bomb into the portals and it actually closed them! In the normal playthrough you may throw one, but it only makes it easier and faster for KEIRA to close the portal. So when Keira dies, you suddenly acquire the ability to do magic. Okay... But then it got WEIRDER... The frost that takes away your HP is coming from the portals, right? So when you close all of them, it disappears, right? It makes sense, but it only suddenly does that if Keira is alive! If she's gone and you close all of the portals (while constantly healing, because there's no Keira's shield), the frost DOES NOT GO AWAY! It stays there forever, coming out of nowhere!!! I could actually heal forever (Ekhidna decoction) but the game just waits until I die! It kinda made me sad. You may say that without Keira you cannot leave the cave, but it's not true, you can just go all the way back. It would be SO much cooler if Keira could actually die in this quest and you were to manage on your own with the main quest and go through the game without the Magic lamp and the Eye of Nehaleni (or maybe Yen could give you one). But no :(

Regarding Graham and the pesta, there is a 2nd way to finish the quest. When she offers you to take her bones to him, you can refuse. She will get angry with you and you'll have to fight her in the tower. Afterwards you can go to Graham and convince him to come with you to the tower to ask for her forgiveness because he didn't know about the paralysis poison. Don't want to spoil the outcome too much, so definitely try it out. :)

I never knew about the geralt and Keira clone fight until I saw it online. I found the right kelpie drawing on my first play through and always did it that way. I must’ve done 5 or 6 play throughs and never knew it existed

Thank you for discovering all of these! It's a token of appreciation to everyone who worked on the game and made this secret interactions that 99% of playerbase wouldn't have ever seen... up until now.
