It now makes so much sense to know this is the first quest they developed. It always felt so disjointed and confusing. Even if you complete it "normally" you still feel like you're just thrown in there without a decent understanding of what's going on

1:32 this is exactly what most (AAA) game-developers do wrong. They either change it completely and/or rashly (including parts everyone liked), or they tend to change almost nothing at all, just a different setting (CoD, Assassin Creed, etc.) I’m afraid that Bethesda for example is going to make this mistake with their next elder scrolls.

I initially watched your videos because coincidently the witcher 3 is my favorite game and your content is something i immensely enjoy, about a month ago i played a plagues tale and while scrolling through your videos i found this one. I put off watching it till i had beaten both games, and this morning i had finally beaten the second, and i can without a doubt say these two games are indeed perfection. I recently lost a family member and the second game resonated with me. I'm sorry for your loss, you are a very strong individual and im sure your sister would be very proud of you.

Fun fact, on my most recent replay I was very rusty at the beginning (and I didn't somehow realise how to get him off the horse soon enough) and I didn't remember how the quest was supposed to go exactly, so I thought the option to follow him into the camp and fight there was intentional / the primary way to solve the quest, lol. But thanks to you I discovered the option of missing clues and locking yourself out of the conversation (and the game making fun of you for that), which is really cool.

I hope the combat is so damn janky this timr.

the Gaetan quest is one of the good number of quests you can tell they ran in to a time crunch, didn't know what to do and struggled to come up with something. Theres a few quests where you can tell they just kind of gave up on reasoning for the end of X or Y quest and put in some lame excuse for the other path.

If were possible to do an ending with Shani, I would. She made me fall in love for her since the first meeting. I forgot completely Triss or Yennefer. I like the fact she is a normal woman, without powers, like the sorceresses but she is better than them. I didn't regret to court her in expansion Hearts of Stone.

I would also love to speak to anyone who's in charge of Netflix because first they close a perfectly good book adaptation by the name of Lockwood and Co that they only ruined by cancelling it - the adaptation was actually in some ways nicer than the book, and then they flopped so bad with Witcher it's actually UNBELIEVABLE to me to this day... I simply can't process it how you can poop it away the way they did

Oh my gosh! For real! It felt like dueling simulator (which in fairness, I did quite enjoy combat. It felt fluid and fun and was really good. The problem is that it was all that was there) but the exploration was so. stupid. repetitive. And the main story was boring! I only did the main quest so I could do the Sebastian and Ominus story, which was so much fun! And I only enjoyed like.... two other questlines. And Hogwarts itself was so boring! And the vanity items were so disappointing as rewards. Like sure, if it was cool vanity I'd be.... okay with it. But most of it wasn't. And sure, if the clothing felt meaningful it would have been fine. But it wasn't. The rewards were lackluster and pointless. But I do still go back and just find the biggest group of enemies I can on ocassion and murder them all because of how much I enjoy the combat system. (Though for real, there should be rumors about a new dark wizard/witch with how many people I've cruciod, imperiused, and avada-kedavrad to death, let alone more 'mundane' means of murder, like freezing them solid before exploding them in a shower of gore.

In KCD 1, I just beat the game and I still can’t quite get a handle on the combat entirely. It was difficult to really learn. Especially after dying over a thousand times

I accidentally murdered kira on my first playthrough too! I'm glad I'm not the only one. Problem is I panicked and didn't think about loading so I ended up beating the game with her dead. On my second and third playthroughs I did things differently though. Also I give money to anyone who asks and always take contracts for cheap from normal peasants. This playthrough I gave the oprhan kids like 50 honey. Also you making jokes about carrying 50 ham sandwiches was totally accurate and hilarious.

I feel you. But also, I adored this game. I’m excited to see what they do next but I really really enjoyed just being in this world. It felt like something I needed. For a sequel I do hope they make the castle even bigger and make the open world smaller, but man did I really love this.

I'm the casual gamer and a huge HP fan (bonus this is one of my fave aesthetic historical time periods). I stopped playing this game shortly by the time we got to the dueling club. :/ It was just.. too disappointing. I'm glad I checked it out from the library and didn't waste my money. I was really hoping for a game that centered on.. hogwarts. It was called Hogwarts Legacy.

I'm MORE upset about how goofy the characters look, than the ham-fisted modern day politics it chokes you with. My wife (a rabid leftist, in the modern definition) loves this schlock. Even when the dreaded "MOM, I'm non-binary" scene played she acted like it was a totally normal thing to be in this game. Hell she even calls the Ukraine war a Trump war. So, even SHE admits it may be, just a little bit, teensy-weensy over the top with messaging. I can ignore that mess. However the general aesthetic of this wet fart is too bad to even attempt to slog my way through. Shame too, I played, and LOVED the first three. Even that second game which was just the same map, over and over. This hurts worse than the ending of ME3. I truly hope they (Bioware) go bust. The original creators are all gone anyways.

I'm assuming new moon set would benefit from a build similar to that of the cat build..I'm running into an issue where I can't find the relic version of the new moon trousers..I did the "airfield" treasure hunt but only got the yellow tier from the chest. Anyone know where to find relic version?

For such a long time I overlooked Kingdom Come. It was just one of those games I knew of, and saw in different lists. Like most played on Steam. What i didn't know was that Kingdom Come was the game I had been looking for a long time. A huge and chill RPG. Like few games are able to make the RP/Role Playing in RPG's, good. Like the RP is mostly up to ppl to pretend. Kingdom Come though is proper geeky stuff, IN the middle ages... I LOVE IT!
