So they didn't actually happen and the people that made him kill people is folks that didn't bother to read the source material. Got ya so don't bother watching.

Now in 100 hours... I love it! I started picking stuff, getting the legday-perk and that's how I began building my Henry. Simultaneously learned Marigold & Chamomile decoction, up to "henry" level and got pretty wealthy, strong, and "reasonably" outfitted, and now I'm progressing in the story the way one should. Doing the occasional training of skills along the way. This is KCD1 but better! I love it! I love it! I love it! (and still a bit buggy and weird at times... in one quest, I keep bumping up to guards, tell them a joke over and over again, and all's fine)

Thank you for making so many quality Witcher videos. You're a great fan of The Witcher and make great stuff for those who also love the series! May you always have plenty of fun and incentive making these!

I mean it's really only the master stirke really breaks the combat wide open. I feel like the first game had two things going for it that kept the difficulty curve seemingly high in that SO many folks who played it seemed to have missed the more advanced combat tutorials entirely, thereby missing that one "easy mode" trick, and the ai was more aggressive with multiple enemies making things so frantic when there were more than 2 opponents that you really didnt have much time to worry about the finer details of combat and just aggressively backpedalled so they couldn't surround you.

so if you do things in this order you can skip the quest of finding Anna and don't have to choose between her and the orphans? And the baron lives and does not leave?

So, I learned about Thronebreaker because of this video, and finally I finished it, and man, Thronebreaker its fucking amazing. Thanks for talking about it. The soundtrack, the story, the decisions, holy fuck its truly a masterpiece and it really hurts me that its failure caused CDPR to cancel all other plans for Witcher Tales, especially after you said that the idea was to make a Iorveth game. I genuinely enjoyed the Gwent part, I loved how creative they got with the Puzzles, the final fight against Ardal aep Dahy was genuinely hard and man THE VOICE ACTORS ARE FUCKING AMAZING, every time Meve talked I got chills My only "complain" its that Geralt being on the cover it's super clickbait, I was wondering when he was going to show up and then he just appeared for one battle, he was basically a Deus Ex Machina, I know that battle is tied to the books but still funny how Deus Ex Machina he was, lol

You calling the combat easy hurts me since I've spent the better half of my 11 hours so far doing 10 min fights right out the gate cause they all have plate armor and my weapon occasionally goes through them at point blank range 😅😅

Honestly, the Skellige question marks are pretty handy for paying for that Grandmaster armor. I usually clear them out in clusters, a few at a time, as a way of taking a break from the main story. That way I don't burn out on them.

I will slightly push back on the notion that Geralt would kill Detlaff if left with the choice due to one reason you mentioned yourself and that is his own past. I think it was established at that point which rammifications it would have for Regis IF he killed another vampire. Geralt always valued his own friends over everything else (it is a reason why he e.g in my opinion spares Letho as well although from his perspective there could be a good chance for Letho killing humans again on Emhyr's behalf). I think at the moment Syanna dies he knows there are two potential outcomes. He can begrudgingly let Detlaff pass, a choice he might hate but at this point there is no further threat coming from him (it reminds me a bit of Brehen in that regard where a warning would be uttered), or he can fight for what is basically nothing at this point but revenge AND additionally force his friend into a terrible situation in which he will be an outcast among his own species... a feeling Geralt knows and loathes all too well. I don't think it would be a choice pro detlaff as it would be a choice in favor of Regis and if somebody says that Geralt must be aware that Anna Henrietta might kill him for this choice, I completely agree BUT as Regis sacrificed himself I could very well see Geralt be willing to roll the dice on this one and bank on Regis getting him out OR fleeing Beauclair immediately. Again I do not disagree but I see a world where this would be a possibility. It is a difference between choosing to become an outcast and having that choice forced upon you...again a feeling Geralt knows too well. To make the same decision that you were forced into as a child for Regis... difficult. I think the quest failed there as I could have seen a world in which he would have "killed Detlaff" fulfilling his contract (which he obviously can't as Witcher 3 establishes for better or for worse) and Regis would have left with Detlaff similar to how Detlaff saved him and similarly to Regis it would be Detlaffs time to learn and find a new way of life. Again I am not saying this is how things play out BUT I could see it. It's one of the hardest decisions in the game as far as I am concerned.

Just finished it..I made mostly the sae decision as mentioned other than 1. I chose Triss (Have my own arguments for that) 2. Decided to go violent with Menge (didn’t want Triss to hurt herself for us also seeing your outcome I regret it a bit) 3. Feels dumb for getting convinced by Annabelle’s story (it sounded so painful I fell for it, highly regrets it)

I would like to say that for my Feline build I use the Adaptation perk, then just focus it around the Ekimmara decoction and I put Invigorate onto my Aerondight and it’s incredible. I generate health by killing and then the extra kills turn the extra health into extra damage instead once the Vitality is at the max. It’s way overpowered.

So glad I didn't invest any time in this show. Yeah, fine, Henry 'made it good', but clearly, there was 'girl-boss' manipulation of the story, in writing the show, and for some time. Hard pass.

I just finished the base game for the first time and it is scary how many parallels the story has to what is currently happening in the world today. For example, Roche, Ves, and Thaler's plan to forfeit rule to Nilfgaard reminds me of Trump's proposal for Ukraine and Russia. You would be a fool to believe Nilfgaard would honor their agreement.

I'm seeing the clips, to start the video, and I see so many women in the battle scenes, which confirms my assumption, that the women writers went 'girl-boss' mode with the story...which isn't The Witcher.

Im ngl, i think the game was great, and I have nothing against female protaganists and card games, but if thronebreaker had a male protagonist or visual combat it would have been way more popular. People dont like to admit these things but most guys would simply rather play as a guy and see some action. People are simple at heart.

fyi i just mean laying some more visuals on top of the gwent, not eliminating rhe card aspect all together. And also to be clear the games great as is. Im happy we didnt play as Geralt, and shes a fantasticlly well written charachter. These are just realities of makong things more mainstream.

Sooo, technically he killed only two, if you play it correctly and both are outside of gameplay. Also Geralt wouldn't kill those he had a choice to kill, as he was always seeking neutrality, as seen from his struggle in his books.

I was a huge fan of the first game, which stayed true to its Christian values and focused on a God-fearing main character building meaningful relationships with women. It was refreshing and aligned with my faith. But the second release has completely abandoned those principles. Now, it promotes same-sex relationships and sexual content that go against everything the first game stood for. It’s disappointing to see a series I loved lose its way so drastically. What’s worse is the silence from creators and influencers who praised the first game. Not one has addressed this shift, which feels like a betrayal to fans like me who supported it for its faith-based foundation. If you’re looking for a game that stays true to Christian values, this isn’t it anymore. I’m deeply disappointed and won’t be supporting this direction.

I'm an old gamer. I kind of stumbled across KCD 1. I had no idea what I was actually getting. But after downloading it, starting it, and getting my @ss handed to me over, and over again, I finally decided to do a little research on the game. Yep! The game was designed to ensure that you KNEW that you were a complete noob and had zero skill. After I was informed of that, the game became one of my all-time favorites. I can't say how many hours I played just in the practice ring alone. I am setting aside some serious time for KCD 2, and am actually reluctant to start, because I know that I will blow through it and the anticipation, and experience will be over. Weird, right?

They could add some simpler mechanics that would make the game much cooler. I wish I could just go entirely bad and start attacking students and professors and causing mayhem, GTA style, and maybe be puniched with some detention or even prison (game over). Also, the characters and the story are all too happy and friendly and everyone is nice and everything is breezy, no characters fight and argue, no one is rude. They should put on a darker tone as well. The room of requirement could transform into other things. Treasures could be more than clothes. Why would people put gloves in a chest in a cave? That makes no sense! They could also put all 4 secret passages out of Hogwarts, they could add a "don't walk at night" policy; they could let my character sleep in her bed to advance to the next day; they could let my character talk to the ghosts; they could let my character try and sneak into a different common room; they could let my character sit down and have lunch; they could add a classes mechanic similar to the game Bully. They could let us use nifflers to find gold. They could let us try other, more complex potions, perhaps the polyjuice potion, so I can try and impersonate other characters. Perhaps let players get new skills or spells, or potion recipes by reading books? They could add more secret passages in the castle, let us talk to the paintings, let me guess Gryffindor's password, get Sir Cadogan going about in other paintings, etc, etc, etc. Also, if they want more places to visit besides Hogwarts, perhaps have a side quest in the Ministry of Magic or Diagon Alley.

I freed the 'evil spirit' trapped in the tree, because I don't like children, and it's argument, being faster, to save the children, coupled with my dislike of children, it seemed the right thing to do. Fact is: As a 'witcher' it doesn't matter what she does, after I'm done with Velen quests...I'll survive.

Even worse, I've seen many people when trying to defend why she cannot be a Witcher, quoting the netflix series... But even if Ciri can make her own decision I still think none of the other witchers would put her through the trial, maybe not even if she'd be dying.. But, it's possible for example that she during her travels, runs into a situation where for example she finds a dead witcher with a bottle on him that is the last part of the trial of the grasses, since she's already been fed everything that makes up the first part during the entirety of her growing up at Kaer Morhen, it might also be possible she wouldn't know what the concoction was, it might be possible she was attacked, hurt, and thought it would be a regular potion, since it was on a witcher, something like that, anything is possible really.. People are too uptight and misogynists flooding the comments (I assume they are) that don't even know that the Witcher 3 is not canon, yet are not open to being refuted or corrected, is not helping the situation either, I wish CDPR would repost your video on social media or something, just for convenience sake, since it's the most well put together video I've seen on the topic. Also, I mean, I don't think there was any record anywhere of how the trial of the grasses affected the fertility on women, since the women they tried it on all died.. As for women being sterile in the game it was the sorceresses, but it was never confirmed that it was due to magic, it was however because they were actively sterilized according to tissaia de vries, lets not forget geralts mother is a sorceress, male and female reproductive systems are different after all, and they only had live subjects in boys, which, also don't get a fully functioning reproductive system til they start hitting puberty.. It could even be possible that the trial of the grasses stops those changes from happening in the body, whereas ciri is already a grown women by that point, with a (I assume at least) functioning reproductive system.. There are so many scenarios where it doesn't break the lore of the books, or even the previous games
