I wish Witcher 3 gets a new expansion that takes us to a fully restored Dol Blathanna. Imagine what the scenery would look like if Loc Muinne (rebuild by the elves) returns to its former glory, then there's the Pontar river and of course the Blue Mountains. CDPR could do so much with this location.

Hey! I speak irish and we pronounce blathanna as 'bla ha na'. The T would be silent in this case. Don't get me wrong, I know no ones gonna know that but just thought I'd drop a comment. Direct translation to flowers (as you said). It's really cool seeing my own language in the books and games.

@sobienz4 жыл бұрын
uhm... the elves in the witcher universe literally conquered worlds. yes. plural. the aen elle is notorious for finding new worlds, killing its residents and conquer it for their own? CIri's entire power and its source are based upon elven magic. weak my arse. the Aen Seidhe just lost their roots which humanity used to their advantage. Francesca Findbair is still the most powerful sorceress in this Lore simply because she is an Elf and her father was a Sage. Magic COMES from the elves.

Well, they aren't extremely weak. The elves have defeated several races including scattered humans. However, it is just that the humans who came directly from Earth into the Witcher world were militarily advanced. The elves had limited magic casters, so the the humans could overwhelm and crushed the elves in field battles.
