Yes! Anneke has been the most influential female singers in metal music, particularly with gothic metal and symphonic metal genres (with femae singers) - alongside with Liv Kristine (Theatre of Tragedy, Leaves’ Eyes) and Kari Rueslatten (The 3rd and the Mortal).

I like to go Dutch! They are both Dutch...... Sharon den Adel, the singer in white, is awesome. So is Anneke - her band "The Gathering" and her solo career...... Sharon also sings with Tarja (ex-Nightwish) on "Paradise (What About Us?)"...... A more "pop" song by Within Temptation is "Sinead".... You know Leo M has a new video out "Peaches"!?

she was in the old days one of the first synfonic metal singers, now she sings alone or as a guest singer, moost she has blond hear, she was in Ayreon (valley of the queens) and others and she sings a lot with Devin Townsend. f.a. (anneke van giersbergen & devin townsend - grace).
