You would have a lot of fun there Lance! Fall is a wonderful time to visit Arches, the weather is great and less people are on the road and trails. It is a hard choice to make on which on to visit. Puis Delicate Arch mais vue de l’autre côté près du stationnement . Il y en a d’autres aussi que j’ai fait seul Turet et North and South Window Hélène m’attendait à distance à chaque fois 😢. Nicely done! I actually might actually put Double O above Delicate on the list. It's less crowded and has that fin walk is great. Also, you missed the best hike in the park! The Fiery Furnace hike blows all these hikes away. It's super secluded with minimal foot traffic, and is a world into it's own. Definitely check it out if you haven't before. I have a couple of videos on it if you get bored. 😁 Still a great job on the video though! 💪

Many arches are easy to get to or to see. Arches National Park has a lot of visitors so we should stay on the trails not to damage the vegetation. In the desert, it takes a lot of time for it to grow. Thanks so much Jörg!

Thank you for your questions, Paulo. The length of your visit depends on a couple factors. Plan for (at least) 3 days to do these top 5 hikes if you are a regular hiker. Also plan to arrive as early as possible (such as 7am) to secure a parking spot on the most popular trails and beat the crowds on the trails. Have fun planning your trip there!

@WithinHikingDistance
@WithinHikingDistance 2 жыл бұрын
I'd give yourself 2-3 days to see all that I mentioned in the video. Starting with Delicate Arch might be good as it might get busy later in the day. Then head up to Devils Garden and do the hikes/sites on that road and work your way back. The visitors center is always a good place to start and there are a lot of itineraries online that you can use to plan your trip. Have fun!

Just read most of comments and saw you recommend 3 days. I'm wondering if I should skip arches as we have 7 days from Vegas (right now 1 night Grand Canyon, 1 night Antelope Canyon, 1 night Arches (after Monument Valley) 1 night Bryce, 2 nights Zion. So much to see out there but my son is 17 so fairly strong hikers and I guess we'll just get taste of each park. (If we skip Monument Valley and Arches we save 8+ hours of drive time)

@WithinHikingDistance
@WithinHikingDistance 3 жыл бұрын
It is very easy to see Delicate Arch from the Lower Delicate Arch Viewpoint. It is a flat 50 yard trail. You can bring binocular to see it better from the view point. It seems like it would be the best option for you. There is also the Upper Delicate Arch Viewpoint. It is a 0.5 mile to the viewpoint with a path moderately climbing on sandstone, which can be slippery. Thanks for your question and safe travels!

We visited in October. It is much less crowded that time of year. Thanks for stopping by Derrick!
