Leo's loss is completely understandable, I can feel every word you've spoken; two years ago I lost my cat too - even though it was just a month since I got it - , two years ago in April, the cat died, and I really cried when I saw her dead! that really broke my heart, and I have tears right now just because I remembered her. Also my mom and my older brother cried for her, even though we didn't spend much time with her, but we really loved her. So I really sympathize with you. And I pray that may Leo come back again insha'Allah, who knows! Allah is capable of anything. There is a prayer that I repeat whenever I lose something, it is " Allahuma ya jami'a an-nas liyaumin la raiba fih ijma baini wa baina dhaliti. اللهم يا جامع الناس ليوم لا ريب فيه اجمع بيني وبين ضالتي" and its translation is"O Allah, Who will bring all humankind together on a Day of which there is no doubt; bring me together with my lost object."

I've read that if you leave the cat bed outside with the cat litter and cat food he will be able to smell it and find it in shaa Allah, even if he's miles away. I've read two or three stories where the owner did that and the pet came back eventually. So if he was stolen and escapes he will definitely be able to come home. Also are there any special characteristics of Leo that can identify him? In case he's put online to be sold, I think it's easier to find grown Bengals bc most people buy them as kittens? if anyone reads my comment please pray tahajjud for leena and Leo to be reunited, and maybe even rememeber her in your dua when you break your fast. God does not turn away those duas!! The pain of losing a pet is nothing to undermine, it is anxiety and true grief.

My cat was stolen from the front of my house by somebody.We searched everywhere from marketplaces to roads and parks.I live in one of the very posh areas of my city.We hung posters for a reward of 8 000 rupees if our cat is returned.Few days later we got a call from one of the security guards of our colony and he told us who had our cat.I was shook to find out that a boy who apparently got out from a land cruiser stole the cat.And they are one of the richest families of pakistan.Thankfully ,we found him back. Moral of the story:- Dont lose hope Money wont give a person manners ."so much money and still no class"

The first cat I adopted as an adult passed from cancer two years ago and it was so hard. I was so depressed that semester of college and nobody really understood and they thought I was overreacting because he as just a cat, but he was so special to me. My grandmother told me that losing a pet hurts just as bad as losing a person, but the pain doesn’t last as long. I’m so sorry Leena, I started crying the moment you said Leo’s name. I’ve lost 2 cats, My Orion who was a bengal and who had gotten sick 5 days after I got him and could only hold out for 5 more but God did I love him. My Espresso who was the sweetest most playful Siamese was with me for a few months before I lost him. The length of time didn’t matter, they’re both my babies. I want you to know that you’re not overreacting and your feelings are not exaggerated and not embarrassing. How could they be, he’s family and I hope he comes back to you whichever way that is. My advice would be just pray to God so hard that He would give you peace of mind and heart about Leo’s whereabouts, He will answer yours as he did mine. I won’t go into details about how because I don’t want anything in my story to hurt you when your pain is so recent (nothing graphic I promise but everything hurts with something like this), just know that God gave me that peace of mind even more than I asked for. Ya Rab Leo comes back to you 💘

You are right. It is not an obligation for pregnant and or breasfeeding woman to fast in Ramadhan. Just paying fidyah, something like penalty usually in a form money, and give it to people or someone poor. You can also turn the fidyah into food and still give it to the poor. There is a number of how much it must be but if you are financially struggling and cannot pay then just need to fast as many as fasting in Ramadhan you have left in another days, months, outside Ramadhan. People know their body best so, if you feel like you can fasting then it is okay to fast. Just make sure it is not harmful for you and the baby cause if it is harming then it is forbidden to do it. There are so many dangers for cats outside. But fancy breeds are especially at risk for theft. I'm sorry this happened, and I'd definitely recommend keeping any future pets exclusively indoors. Will 100% prevent this in the future.

The exact same thing happened with my cat three years ago. He was stolen and our front door was egged. (i was 11). I completely understand this. It's such a hard thing to go through. He was your first baby, one of your best friends, you cant fully replace that. Pls, be strong. My beloved cat who i grew up with unfortunately got hit by a car last august and like you, I experienced an immense amount of grief which at the time i also felt bad for as 'it was only a cat'. No one understands your feelings more than yourself. Leo was so lucky to have you as a parent and the fact that you are grieving so much just shows how much love you have for him and how lucky you both were to have each other in your lives. I am not religious but I believe everything happens for a reason and just around the corner something amazing is coming! I had the gallbladder pain too. Ever since I got pregnant and had my kids , I still sometimes have that pain around my period time. I also had very bad heart burn toward the end as well. I completely understand what you’re going through. My cat once went missing, he had been hit by a speeding driver. It’s incredibly hard to deal with, pets are family members, too. Praying for you and hoping he will be found ❤️

I am very sorry for your loss Leena!😔 I had a cat myself that I can’t find now. While I only had him for a short while, I still feel a sense of loss after a year especially knowing he’s somewhere around. Don’t feel you have to be on social media constantly. You should feel free to take time off or to yourself WHENEVER you need it especially during your pregnancy. You Shld not feel pressured because you wont ever regret taking the time to take care of yourself instead 💕
