Recent situation… she blocked me.. FaceTime… her crying saying she was having found emotions and that she missed me a lot… and she kept saying that… all I can say is I’ve been focusing on me.. if youre ever in a point in your relationship where your ex blocks you and you feel like youre the one that needs to change itll never work. a partnership is just that partners 50/50. its not all one sided. you should never feel like from youre partner youre a problem and need to change partner that love each other should recognize each others problems and help each other thru them. you should accept each other and change together for the better. if youve been blocked its gone to far and to much damage is done and its time to move on.

Thank you so much for this. I am in this exact situation right now. Long story short, my ex girlfriend had suffered some emotional trauma before she met me and was vulnerable. I had another toxic ex who would capitalize on this and ultimately broke us up. I meet her every weekend to pick up our son and can see she is still angry. After the breakup she blocked me everywhere. Went into 4 weeks of nc. After this time we accidentaly ran into each other outside. I tried to stay calm and keep my cool. She on the other hand approached me with anger, meaniness and coldness. After that 3min meet up she blocked me again and un-blocks me whenever she has something ‚to say‘. I can‘t wrap my head around this girl. She‘s extremely emotional and reactive. She broke up with me because she didn‘t feel emotionally supported be me.

It’s not just men, women can also be quite mean as well, and can be quick to be mean and once they/she are called out, then she blocks him without reason as oppose to talking things out. It’s not cool to block just for anything unless it’s a repeated pattern of demeaning comments, humiliation etc. but it seems like people can just block whomever for the slightest thing, whether you know the person one year or many years, it’s very disheartening and it’s a reflection of mental instability in regards to the blocker if it’s for a minor thing.

I’m sorry to hear that, it must be so painful. But I think it’s also for you and her protection, my ex dumped me almost just a month ago (he is my first boyfriend) and I blocked him asap, it is because he said that we can still message each other and it’s not the ideal break up for me. It’s for my protection because I don’t want to hope that he will still message me and want me back, because if I didn’t blocked him i’ll wait for his message every minute, and if he didn’t message me at all it will also break my heart for him cutting all of it permanently, it is also for him because I don’t want to reply to him if he message me, then his heart will be hurt also because of me not replying to him at all. That’s for both of you. I still love him dearly but it’s for the best of us to cut our connetion maybe forever.
