If I'm Miami. I'm all in on an unprotected first along with Robinson and highsmith. Not sure if Washington would accept that with Robinson having a partial guarantee next season. He would have a fantastic addition to a team like that. They could use his scoring and rebounding !

Kuzma is kind of weird to evaluate like where he fits. He's got size, but he can't really play up from the 4. Like Aaron Gordon can play up and defend some centers, Kuzma can't. Then with his foot speed, he really can't be a POA defender against fast athletic guards/wings. And then he's inefficient on shooting, especially from 3, which hurts his stock. He also can't play Point-Forward, he doesn't have great decision making skills.

Did you guys not realize yet that Kuzma is a 3&D player without a 3 or a D? I know he played for your Lakers but he is a terrible player. If you're a team looking for a guy making around what Kuzma is you will go for Cam Johnson not for Kuzma cause Cam is a real 3&D guy. Kuzma has almost no value in my mind for serious teams. He doesn't defend, he's not efficient, he doesn't care about winning. He is gonna finish this deal in the Wizards unless anyone is stupid enough to bet on him the way the Wizards did and where did that get them

There's a trend with NBA teams that shows the stupidity of those organizations. Examples are bulls, raptors, and now NJ/Wizards/Portland, where they feel their guys has X value but they aren't going to get that value from the trade market. So you're insisting on getting two first round picks for Cam Johnson or Jeremy Grant where that is not gonna be an easy trade to get. Instead these teams should go on a fire sale at the same time. Make a deal with the Bucks for their first round picks for 1 guy, even if its lower than his optimal trade value, then sell another for a pick to the Lakers, another to the Nuggets, and so on. At the end of the year you will have your cap space clear, your team tanking as they should, and you'll have more picks. Instead they insist on a value, then DeRozen/Tyus Jones/Cam Thomas all just walk for nothing. You get zero picks more often when you insist on getting a lot of picks because the player walks. Sell sell sell. The price is not the only consideration when you are tanking. Look at the Spurs, one pick for Derrick White, one pick for Poeltl. Then turn around a couple of years later and they have high picks from their own picks, and potentially high future picks down the line. Did they maximize the value of those sales? No. But they got something while they could and got out

I think in today world you have to say you want more , just for them to offer them what you really want , like Facebook marketplace, where you raise the price on a item your selling to get the real price you want because you know ppl / teams are going to low ball you .

If that was the case they would have gotten a trade done last year. They are insisting on this price and releasing it to the public so they could have it clear to other GMs that "hey if you want Kuzma its two first round picks minimum". Also that was the reported deal they had agreed on with Dallas last year before the Wizards asked him if he wants to go to Dallas and he said no, so the stupid wizards canceled the deal

they already are overloaded at wing. wtf do you call Rui/Knecht4? and right now there aren't enough shots for both of them. what they need is a good floor general PG that can hit shots and dish. DLo is the opposite of that. and a big Center but there aren't many good ones available. and some of them don't want to play for hte Lakers like Valunciunas.

they don't need another scorer. there aren't enough shots to go around now that Knecht4 is involved and Rui is back. Kuzma doesn't even look that good this year and has been hurt most of it. Lakers need to get rid of DLo for just about anything and get a good PG and/or big center. DLo is a liability at this point. Brogdon would be a better fit than Kuzma and likely much cheaper. Can't really go after Valunciunas since he clearly doesn't want to be a Laker which is a shame since they could've offered something for both Brogdon/Valuncianus as a package.

Please, demote the Wizards to the G League. They can't even ask for a reasonable trade. This is the worst franchise in the NBA. The Wizards signed Jordan Poole, Kyle Kuzma, Malcolm Brogdon, and Ricahun Holmes to long term deals. Thinking that was somehow going to be enough to compete. Then went out and signed Valuncunas like he's the difference maker. 2 years ago this team had Bradley Beal, Kristaps Porzingas, and Kyle Kuzma scoring over 20 PPG and couldn't even make the playoffs in the eastern conference.

The per minute numbers are nearly identical, between LA & WAS. He is what he is. Volume scorer/below average defender. The NBA is full of them. They should have to give picks to move him. He's not worth a #1, unless a team is really desperate.

Kuz's heart aint in it in DC and thats obvious, so yes i would absolutely bring him back to where he was successful and happy and i know can play with AD and Bron. He'd have no problem putting up the 12.5ppg Rui is averaging and be a better defender and rebounder. Someone who could actually give you 20-25 on a hot night when AD and or AR isnt hitting.
