I just became interested in WNBA (considering it's still a pretty new league, not even 50 years old I don't think). The WNBA only exists due to the generosity of the NBA. Their lack of appreciation is nauseating. It's like if Eddie Van Halen gave me $200,000 to live on and make my own album. My album sells only 5 CD's and all I do is whine that Eddie Van Halen makes more money for his CD's than I do for my CD's.

All he was saying is you can be really talented in a sport with no viewers, like ping pong, and not make millions of dollars like in the nba. no one watches wnba, yet they think they should be making millions because the men do. Coincidentally I was talking about this at work today, it’s basic math. Nobody is watching, that’s why they don’t get paid. It’s about entertainment at the end of the day and the wnba is not entertaining.

The NBA changed sooo many rules so the game became more watchable. The All Star Game format, the amount of timeouts, 3secs in the key.... But the WNBA is losing out on millions because they don't wanna listen to potentially their biggest demographic of viewers. Crazy
