He’s so cute! In the future please give your pups at least a week or two after the vaccine to allow their body to go through the immune response and have time to be protected from the virus; the process is not immediate. ✌🏼

I would not take a pup out of their personal yard until 2 weeks after they have completed all three vaccines to be safe. My grandparents lost their pup to parvo. They were so devastated they never had a dog again. Best of luck to you and your fur babies 💕

​@Robert McDevitt one is suppose to have 3, granted this depends when in life they are subjected to the vaccine. When a mother nurses their pups they recieve antigens from the mothers milk to help protect them from various viruses. When the puppy is weaned those antigens protecting the pup goes away. This is why it's usually recommended to start vaccinating at 8weeks old. At 12 weeks the pup should receive their second set this is DHPPL (Lepto is introduced at this time as their isn't as much potential for a reaction). When the pup turns 16 weeks they get their last set of DHPPL and are also getting Rabies. Lapto has to be boosted every year same with Bordetella (Bordetella protects from kennel cough in which first administration occurs at 12 weeks either internasal or subcutaneously. I have heard of oral administration but the clinic i worked at didn't). That said lugging around a 16week old pup can be a ton of work. I usually would do so when they first came in, but than after last administration it was all 4 paws down. The vaccine is ongoing protection yes at 12 weeks old be cautious, but socialization is incredibly important especially for a wolf. That said for people who go to dog parks or go out to various areas to hike please vaccinate. DHPPL-> should be bolstered annually leftospirosis is not a great disease and is zoonotic via bodily fluids. Rabies->legal requirement it's zoonotic and there isn't really a cure Bordetella->Protects against the bacteria that causes kennel cough a respiratory infection (think pneumonia but for dogs) Rattlesnake vaccine-> it can protect your dog's life if you hike in a rattlesnake area. By subjecting them to the antigens your body learns how to recognize and start fighting. It allows foe a quicker healing response when medical care is given and allows for the pup to have a higher survivability rate. Heartworm prevention-for any indoor or outdoor dogs mosquitos are everywhere and the war on heartworm is being lost. Flea and tick prevention- for obvious reasons especially if you go to the dog park, live or travel in wooded areas, have Long grass. Prevention medicine is beyond important puppy, adult, or elderly. One doesn't want their fur baby in emergency especially when all one had to do was keep up with prevention it's costly in the long run. Lastly INSURANCE get your dog or cat or reptile insured it helps with vet bills bloodwork can be costly and so can surgery!

I always thought it was hilarious. When people would say oh wolf dogs are just like huskies or malamute or great Pyrenees or something like that. Until you actually see one next to any one of those breeds. It becomes astoundingly obvious that they are definitely different! He is beautiful.

Sister in-law received money from her husband my brother to pay bills and to get dogs shots. I told her neighbor when dog bites cheek of her boy's face. That dog had it's shot. Found out it didn't have any shots. Years later brother found out taxes were 90,000 and over. The bills were not paid on time. The whole time while he was trusting her to take care of the household while he was trucker driving cross country. They got help with taxes and was able to keep their house. They were lucky though. Make sure you know someone can handle business and financial issues before you hand over your money if they are paying your bills.

Every morning we take our dogs to the dog park. Everyday we go they get so excited you would think we never take them. In the evening we sit in our front yard with them and watch neighbors walk by. They love it when people come into the yard and talk to them. We’re in our 70s and it’s the best we can do for them. I wish the youngest one could live with a family with children in the country but guess we’re doing the best we can.

awwwwe he's so happy. do cool to see the other dog mom's and dads. at the park we took our Wolves we got kicked out because they were wolves no matter how well behaved they were. so sad but that park in Littleton is so snobby and clucky. so we just put orange vests on them and take the to Chatfield or Bear Creek walk way. green mint hill off c-470 is great. we don't have to worry about soal to me one calling the cops or yelling at us or the wolves. you have to be careful I have a cougar who can't go to places either and he is the most social little bug sweetheart. Ray looks so happy! good for you guys
