Now it's your series and your choice, but honestly I would refrain from using both Heath Seeker and Bramble Bush. The reason is, it's stupidly easy to complete literally any level with these two. I'd much prefer if you'd use normal plants.

The reason Heath Seeker and Bramble are stupid strong is because they were designed for Arena (difficulty gets insane there). I would reccomend u try and complete the game with just the regular plants that way it's more fun and challlenging

The thing is, they're not that good or arena either. Heath Seeker can take out only so many zombies and Bramble Bush is way more vulnerable with the high density of zombies and their bulkiness. Imp Pear and Pea Vine are the only consistent arena plants from what I've used. Pokra is mostly used as slowdown. She can do a ton of damage but its miniscule compared to Pea Vine.

I recommend not using Heath Seeker for the rest because it trivializes everything as arena plants were released long after adventure ended. And yes, Bramble Bush can trap a Gargantuar until it's dead. But it's pretty balanced compared to a lot of the other arena plants because it has a glaring weakness. It can only kill so many zombies and its vulnerable to other zombies while killing one.

These plants will make the whole game very easy... and maybe less fun. These plants are not meant for adventure. Also have both of these (without buying them). Edit: you could maybe put like at least a rule, where you use heath seeker only on levels which you lose on or struggle on or something, idk, its not that bad. Edit 2: To show how op these plants are, I went to my personal hardest level (bwb day 25) with a mint and a seedium (and a level 6 homing thistle) and beat it very easily on my first try.

Bwb 25 is everyone's hardest level but yeah they make this game laughable and I wished EA could keep their money grubbing hands in their pants for the PvZ series but nope they had to squeeze every ounce of life out of it

I'm sure someone's said it by this point but the sun butter bean thing is only useful when used on a zombie stronger than a browncoat (still a dogshit plant but it's ok on dark ages). You get more sun depending on zombie health so knights are the best use for it. Using it on a browncoat doesn't lose you sun, you just go even and get 50 back. Usually I just put sun bean in front of a chili bean/potato mine so you get the sun instantly. Also I'm sure everyone's probably whining at overuse of the premium plants which I expected tbh. I don't personally mind since its just enjoyable to see you playing with new mechanics and seeing what the game has to offer, but I do think making them an every level thing would be a bit dull (mainly heath seeker since yeah that things just stupid). So far though i don't think they're overused, but hey to each their own.

Surfer zombie is the worst it breaks the rules,goes incredibly fast,kill your plants instead of trapping them like the octo zombie. But how does it really break the rules? It can place it's surfer past plant fooded space Johnny and also kill other plant fooded plants that are supposed to be invincible.

You're pretty much spot on with Pea-Nut on how he sounds a lot better than he actually is. My biggest issue is how once he loses his head he fires at half the rate. He's OP with the Reinforce-Mint, but overall, yeah just keep going for Hypno-Shroom, he's much better and he's not even that good. Also fun fact about Jester Zombie: when spinning he moves and eats faster and is immune to Chili Bean (and possibly other activate-upon-eaten plants like Sun Bean, Hypno-Shroom etc.)

Peanut at level 4 is when it gets good, but that’s its major flaw, it only starts to be viable at level 4, its cost goes down to 125 and its recharge is faster, it has more hp and dmg so its pretty good for some levels but still not the best choice

The thing about heath seeker, like another comment said, it isn’t for the adventure. I’d be fine if you still use bramble bush and heath seeker, but it would make it way too easy. These past levels should not been as easy as they have been, at least the one you got to choose your plants.

There is one plant that is so good. It’s called Gold bloom. It’s a single use plant that grants around 300+ sun in a single use. It may have a long cooldown but it’s costs 0. I recommend you buy it next, if you were to buy another plant

Modern PopCap doesn't care about balancing. All of adventure and its plants were made before 2017, and ever since, they've just been powercreeping to hell and back. I assume it's because PopCap is trying to give players a reason to grind for new plants, but at this point, they should just stop supporting the game entirely. It's been 9 years. Personally, I'd recommend not using these plants entirely, it's just not fun. You gotta remember these plants aren't meant for adventure, they're meant for Arena and Penny's Pursuit.

I'm actually a bit ticked off that Wofly is breezing through this world with plants like Heath Seeker and Bramble Bush. This world is supposed to be really hard and I struggled in it so much. I played it when it first came out and because of the limited plants and no upgrades, it took me like a month of different strategies to beat it. I'd recommend not using busted plants like those because they really do trivialize the entire game and turn what should be extremely hard levels into comparative cake walks.

Yeah I agree. It's also really evident in the pre-selected plant levels that he needs to get good with the plants unlocked in the world (yes even Sun Bean) as he performed pretty poorly when he couldn't bum off premium plants. That being said, I forgive him for the Gargantuar level because that pretty much sums up what I've done pretty much every time I've played the level.

I missed a good chunk of seedium plant arena events, cuz I hadn't been engaging with the game for months. Now that I'm consistently engaging, I missed out of getting Heath Seeker and Darthichoke unlocked. But thankfully one of the recent events that had a whole slew of piercing plants, including those two. I grind a tonn during the recent arena tournament, Penny's Pursuit, and pinatas parties with the unlimited retries glitch on the pinatas parties. After those few weeks from just that I've now gotten Heath Seeker unlocked at lvl 4 and Darthichoke at lvl 6.

Wolfy, as others have said, the Heath Seeker and the Bramble Bush were made for arena which is much harder than anything the main worlds have to offer. I really think you should avoid abusing those two, especially Heath Seeker, since it would make the rest of the world and the zombie's mechanics a joke and would undermine the world's difficulty as a whole, which I think would be a bit boring. Even though it's still busted I'd rather you use Cold Snapdragon than those two since it was added before arena was a thing.

The bramble bush and heath seeker are very overpowered, and not entirely intended for adventure, so along with many others id say you should use them either at all or use them as little as you can, like only if there is a level youve played multiple times and cant beat

If you try some travel log special levels (or minigames as I'd like to call them) you can try many plants leveled up and even upcoming/cool plants that are quite solid. In case you don't know about mints (the reason why most plants have a little icon next to them) they boost plants in their "family". For example, Peanut is op is you use reinforce mint or level it up. It can shred like 4 bucket heads and takedown half hp of a garg with its boosted plant food. Same with other plants, they unlock really cool abilities. P.S. try a travel log minigame near the beginning or end of the video to see how plants actually work.

Dartichoke is gonna be pretty useful for you in Big Wave Beach. It targets the more dangerous zombies and kills them first. Wizard zombies are also targeted by dartichoke

Heath seeker in combination with spear mint is enough to kill multiple Gargantuas + some spare zombies Mints and plants like this one are meant for Penny's pursuit and arena, because I blasted through Jurrasic March and Big Wave beach using mints and heath seeker like it's nothing. My favoruite combo is Fire Peashooter + Pepper-Mint + Bombard-Mint because that one is also pretty powerful. Also, Spear Mint alone is enough to complete most of the adventure levels all on its own.

Actually if bramble brush traps a tanky zombie it uses only one berry but it takes a longer time for the plant to kill the zombie

I don't think Bramble Bush is that OP to be honest. You spend 100 sun to kill 3 (maybe a bit more if there are more in the field) zombies, while you could kill more with a Primal Potato Mine, or spend 75 sun planting 3 Potato Mines. Don't get me wrong, the plant is quite powerful, but I wouldn't say it's totally unfair unlike the other one whose name I already forgot

Technically you can get heath seeker like plants when they release for free if you feel like grinding out the arena for 2-3 hours

4 hours minimum. 2 minutes per match, 500 crowns. But you can get it earlier by doing the birthdayz, pinata party, epic quests and penny pursuit. Also you couldnt get him now, I unlocked him through grinding pinata party.

Plants being immobilized like being turned into sheep just pauses their actions. So, if the Puff-shroom is in the midst of fading as it is turned into sheep, it just pauses that fading timer.

Peanut is a gimmick plant. If you have reinforcemint, you can pretty much wipe the board with it but without the mint, it doesn’t have that much use. Reinforcemint is greatly underestimated because it is for defensive plants. There’s even a weird interaction with blover which is rather effective as well.

also i HIGHLY recommend you play arena this month cus imp pear is the free plant you can get from it and its up there with heath seeker on the op scale when eaten it turns the zombie who ate it into an imp and when given plant food it turns all zombies on the board into imps its one of the best plants in arena for that reason

You should try to get hot potato up to at least 5 so that it can melt the octopuses the one zombie throws, and at a certain level iceberg lettuce can freeze zombies in a 3 by 3 range.

The problem I have with annoying zombies is not that they're annoying, its that once they're introduced, you are dealing with them for the rest of the world. It's not like PVZ 1, where you would deal with Zomboni for 1-2 levels and then fight something else. You are introduced to the Jester in the fourth level and then dealing with him for the next fifteen without cease.

theres a glitch that happens the day the pinata partys change and you can just keep watching an ad to retry over and over and normally you only get one normal try and one ad retry but by using that glitch i got heath seeker dartichoke and i already had bramble bush from arena but yea i got heath seeker to level 4 just by doing that and bramble bush to level 5 and it only took 3 hours so its a pretty good glitch and it happens every time the pinata party changes (heath seeker is so op it let me cheese all of big wave beach lol but use it every flag of zombies it also kills gargantuars with 2 leafs out of the 8 at level 1)
