I did it! Woo! Each individual area isn't especially difficult, but getting a run start to finish where there are no mistakes, nothing unexpected, and not to mention sitting though those long unskippable cutscenes is a pain in the butt.

If you are struggling with Mein Leben, I'd suggest practice in 'I am Death Incarnate' mode. Start with the first level and complete the 1st level twice in a row without dying and then do a manual save at the start of level 2 and complete level 2 twice in a row without dying and keep going all the levels that way (do a manual save at the beginning of every major level). Once you mastered the levels in Death Incarnate mode, Mein Leben will be a breeze.

The difficulty is easy, it's the games bad design, glitches/bugs, Random ai alerts, and rng on the ai not spawning facing directly at you at a crucial stealth part that makes this trophy hard. I literally was killed on the last part of the game because there was an invisible ai shotgun guy shooting me wherever I would run too.

there are alot of extra speedrun strats you can incorporate into this run cutting it down by at least half an hour with half the stress. I highly recomend looking at an easy difficulty speedrun and seeing which tricks you think you can do in a mein leben run.

what about the DLC? i finally completed i am death incarnate after never playing this game or other Wolfenstein games before, i made the mistake of waiting after credits, and starting a new game on the same slot, so i have to replay the whole game to get to the dlc part because my mein leben slot overrided my game slot for i am death incarnate. this was super fun, took me about 22 hours or less to complete the whole game (mostly because I'm new and just maxed out everything to the highest difficulty). i have to say, this is my favorite offline fps. 21.6 hrs on record (16.0 hrs at review time) Played Wolfenstein II for about 13.5 hours. I've never played any other Wolfenstein game, have been away from video games for a long time. Playing this in 2021 on a newly built gaming pc has been a great adventure. I loaded this up, maxed up the settings as far as I could on a 4k 50 inch tv with surround sound system, dimmed the lights, put on the highest difficulty possible ( I am death incarnate-can't unlock mein leiben just yet). This was so fun and challenging. Having studied Nazi history, it's fun to have a scifi anti-nazi world to jump into, and this fps had everything needed to make a fun fps (aside from multiplayer). The graphics in 2021 are still good, so for its time, they must have been exceptional. The gameplay requires you to make tactical decisions, to react quickly, and to use a variety of weapons. Gameplay: 8.5/10: Not repetitive, challenging, variety of weapons and targets. Story is interesting but not tedious. Graphics: 8.5/10: Unable to max out totally, and some details are more expressive/precise than others, but overall this is a beautiful game with great scenery, great combat effects, and cool maps. Story 10/10: Take down all the Nazis in a rabbit hole of unexpected ( I mean like holy shi* that was unexpected) events and challenges with constant fighting. If you don't like killing Nazis, DON'T PLAY THIS GAME. Value 10/10 (got deluxe at a discount online): Buy the deluxe version on a sale whenever you can, at the hardest difficulty, the gameplay, graphics, and story combined make for a great game, even if you don't game much and just want a challenge. This is a fun story and the combat gives the player options for taking down serious enemies and maps that are unique. Overall rating 9/10- Would wear a Wolfenstein shirt to a shooting range after donating to holocaust survivors. Glitch: Sound sometimes mutes or is feint in cutscenes, no idea why but I've seen online reports of this happening to to others. Patch update needed? 10/10/2021 Posted October 9. I needed more than 100 attempts to earn this. No joke. When I finally did it, I had needed around 6 hours, but had no critical "almost-dead" moments at all. Slightly critical were three moments, the most dangerous moment was the Epilogue. Engel hit me 5 times and I was down to 20 health. If she had killed me, I would have killed my console... 😅 I did it on Xbox Series X on January 13th 2023.

I played this on first blind run in I am Death incarnate, and no HUD. I did not know for a first part of the game of the upgrades... Important to use stealth, I love it as it is also coherent with behind enemy lines stuff. However ... I love the suggestions... I am interested in replaying the game... Yes.. mein leben is too much, I love the permadeath thing. In games since more than 5 years I take them with quality approach hyper realism based simulation and contextual hud which means most of the times no hud. I don't like skip the game and approaching it like a challenge. that is not gameplay ... Watching the first few seconds I see your style is really improvised and realistic. Generally many play it like "by heart style" I don't like that cinical challenge cheesy approach. I see... the secret is having armor piercing in the machine guns... which I did not had. I think I still had not applied any upgrade to the weapons up to that moment...plus I play no hud. I wish I stopped more reading stuff during the game, I did not do despite I collected a lot. The problem is that it's not like New Order where you can stop and it feels natural, here sometime u are in the middle of a mission and u are not supposed ( as a character to read stuff). They should have given the opportunity to read collectibles at the submarine once u are back. Anyway.. at 1:14:00 u are clearly showing you are dominating the game situation. With hud on is much much easier.. the real run is no hud... not this hud on handholding. However I see u are too playing "by heart".. I prefer a realistic interpretation Surely it won't last so shortly. Yo uare not even checking corners sometimes.. it's really by heart, ithere is no soul! I really like instead how you play the 1:57:00 or around it mission to reach the launch pad.. very efficient... despite a bit of cynism it's not that bad. When you quick check from cover... oh that's awful eye aching stuff. Ok.. another thing I was questioning over is "Magnum" is louder it says.. but I see you using it.. it really doesn't change much and it is one of my favorite weapons I mean for the playstyle of stealth or as much stealth as possible.. (as u also play I see)... and it seems magnum doesn't really make it louder!" Wow.. with those tramples u jump so much stuff and u basically never get into fights.. so like this is like really waking through the levels. How come at 2:16:00 you are breaking the way for the lady but you had chosen the tramples as upgrade? It means that you have 2 different upgrades? Impossible. Very cheesy stuff at 2:28:00 and 2:30:00... etc exploiting game "bugs". My enemies if I shoot them respond faster. (PC). The final plaza fight could be executed also by going to the extreme point ... callin there the big robts or at least one and then going to the stair and climbing.. they won't be able to shoot .. they are programmed to shoot below ...

I'm inclined to agree but I think it's better when the hard parts of a game are not tied to a trophy (e.g. the hardest difficulty in every god of war game). The real prohlem is people who skipped or boycotted the game cuz it was too hard. That's pathetic. Not playing a game cuz of a trophy is retarded. You can at least play on an alt account and not ruin your main trophy list if that's your concern, so just focus on the main story there. Sorry about the rant lol. I agree it was satisfactory af. Bueno, la estrategia con los supersoldados es la apropiada; yo después bajo corriendo al pasillo del túnel y simplemente corro de un lado a otro sin cambiar de pasillo con la escopeta en una mano y el fusil en la otra, eliminando a todos los enemigos hasta que no queda ninguno, sólo debes tener cuidado con los que aparecen de vez en cuando por el lateral, pero con la escopeta con rebote no deberían darte problemas. Cuando ya no quedan, y no te fíes porque parecen haberse terminado y de repente aparecen unos 5 aproximadamente 20 segundos después, simplemente vas a una salida, lanzas un disparo al aire para que los 2 súper robots vayan hacia allí, vas corriendo a la salida opuesta cargando el láser, sales, atrapas por la espalda a uno, vuelves rápidamente dentro del túnel y repites la estrategia. El momento más conflictivo es mientras eliminas a los supersoldados y al bajar a los túneles, debes tener cuidado con los 1-2 enemigos que encuentras por el camino, pero hasta esa parte el vídeo lo hace perfectamente. Deberías ensayar, se puede conseguir, el problema es lograr una partida casi perfecta (casi porque SIEMPRE hay 1 o 2 momentos críticos, nos pasa a todos) y superar la frustración sobre todo de morir en las fases finales, Venus y el Autzs...lo que sea, ahí sí que puedes deprimirte. I seriously can't find one fucking pattern with with the soldiers spawning on the final fight. Every time I think I killed a decent number to roam around and go out charging my lazer, I just keep running into at least one, get stuck one-shoting them with the shotgun and one of the two robots is just right on top of me. Fuck this whole thing! Geez....
