I can’t help but disagree with you on that. As we saw in the movie, she was a misunderstood character who had a bad childhood. She was left out and that made her feel lonely and bitter towards other ponies. She had never felt real friendship before she got to know twilight and her friends. Sorry if this is a long comment, I guess I’m a pony nerd :)
