They aren't making insane money in middle class. Credit and debt keeps the "image" alive.

If she trades it in she will still have to pay off the other loan, they will attach it to her new payments. Car dealers do this all the time.

If you finance a vehicle. Never go past 60 months. If you got to finance a vehicle for 72,84 or higher you can not afford that vehicle.

She paid $50,000 of interest payments without touching the principal balance. Like Kevin Samuels said, "You can't make this $hit up."😂

If I’m not mistaken if you have to “finance” a car you don’t “buy” it it’s not yours it’s still the banks.

I love full size SUVs but I know I can’t afford one. I know I can make the payments with no problem but honestly I can’t afford it because I’m not rich. I need to invest in my family’s future before I can buy me something that expensive.

They’ll eventually divorce and it will be a financial reason. #1 reason for divorce. I guarantee you if he was single he would never even think of throwing that kind of money away. Full stop

Really believe that we gotta get outta this mindset of financing assets that depreciate at a minimum of 40% after the first day that you drive it of the lot..with the money that we as drivers make all we have to do is make smart financial decisions and within 1-2 years your could get yourself a really good used pickup or SUV. Hell you could buy a brand new car after year 1 if you,we, just DISCIPLINE ourselves.

Naw shawty you paid 50,000 I’m interested. What should have did is try to pay an extra 300 dollars a month towards principal.

Bro what!!!!! No that's wayyyy to much... One thing I regretted is buying a 2020 expedition XLT. In red... Love the heck out of it.. but since last yr money hasn't been great... And am thinking about trucking but kinda seems like a lot of knowing how to do things what not to ask about your money.. every single thing about cleaning your trailer gas and so on.. just need to advance on the road and get to your destination faster and safe of course... At the time it was 85k. 1100 in just the car alone.. 800 in insurance.. overtime went down... Remember 2 yrs back it was great. 400 at most on insurance. Would pay 350.. now am almost paying 600... But once am done. One yr left man!! And I want to invest into a house a rent that out out 20k down..

The first thing that's clear to me is that she has absolutely no idea how much she actually financed. The $74K likely represents the cost of the car before taxes and additional fees. So, let's estimate it at $80k+.. The next thing is that she never mentions a down payment or a trade. My guess is that whatever she was driving before the purchase had a ton of negative equity in it-I'm talking $25K+. So take $80k (tahoe) + $25k (trade negative equity) = $105k Finance that for 7years @ 3.5% will yield a payment of about $1400 a month Pay the $1400 for 3 years ( remember auto loan use simple interest, ie interest front loaded) and you end up with remaining principle of about $64k For those wondering who would trade a car with $25k in negative equity, keep in mind that she is about to do the same thing again with the Tahoe!

Nah you’d be surprised, most are just debt slaves. Their whole life is propped up by credit. Credit is basically government assistance for the middle class.

These big trucks and SUVs are money pits. Gas is way more expensive, tires are way more expensive. Let's be honest, American automobiles are trash compared to Toyotas or Hondas. I have a 2008 Yaris paid off of course. That thing is a tank. I'm from the hood. When I feel like stunting, i rent a car for a few days. My expenses are only 20% of my income. That includes food, property taxes. Everything. My house is paid off. I am 40 years old. Trucking is a great tool if you use it right. I have only been trucking for 4 years. I dont have netflix or any subscriptions other than Planet Fitness and youtube premium.

Sounds like you are in the shoes I want to be in!! But I want to retire by age 30 and if you younger the better.. to never work like I am now... Work I construction and it's hard man.. hot sun blazing.. sometimes a while without water.. concrete doesn't wait.. what are things I should look for.. am a very hard worker... But I just want to feel like somebody... Make money invest that money into propertys.. then do other things maybe get my license for a class A and just be a truck driver for pouring concrete..
