It was kind of amazing that this old, huge dog was able to live a relatively healthy and happy life all by herself. I mean, she did not look like a broken dog at all. Just old. Some dogs just have that survival instinct and personality to make due. She must have an amazing personality.

Well, she's in coyote country and those are just dogs when you get down to it and they live in the wild. This dog obviously had been doing it a while and had its routine down well. So long as there's food, water, shelter and the dog is accustomed to doing some hunting and searching on its own AND it can either avoid predators or be large enough to not worry about them, like this dog, it should be okay. No coyote or pack is taking this sucker down, it's nearly three times the size. While she's busy crying I'm wondering what sort of crazy game this big girl has taken down. I bet there's 1 or 2 less outdoor cats in that neighborhood, lol.

With all my heart, I agree. The empathy of this loving woman (& of her friend Matthew, both of whom are truly angels), is deeply "heartening" & so very "beautiful." And to this I'll add... if this dear woman's compassion, if her desire to rescue an innocent dog & if the pure love in her heart for Lulu makes her "insane," then... as for ME & ALL OTHERS who feel the same love & compassion, who would have joined her in praying for Lulu's rescue & who also pray each day for the loving rescue of every helpless, innocent animal in need, well then... we should ALL be so blessed & would welcome being counted among the "insane."💗🙏💗

@victorysaber16085 жыл бұрын
Think about something. All humans are born with empathy. Kindness. Now just like anger or happiness how do you release this feeling? Media has everyone afraid of thier neighbors. The political parties have everyone at war. We know so many fake people asking for handouts who are drug addicts or just fakes. Most cant donate because if you give once theyll call you daily. Most charity is 1 penny of every dollar or less. And after the red cross overhead thing with the twin towers people dont trust charity. So again I ask if you have the feelings of empathy, the need to give of yourself to help another. And humans basically corrupted it, I find it makes alot of sense to act in a way she did for this 3 years. I myself spent several months catching a set of feral kittens. The mom ate on our porch. And a opossum occasionally. Then 3 kittens came in tow. There in there teens now. Hopefully your alittle enlightened. Humans have so many emotions that have stigma attached. Men cant cry. Stuff like that. If you suppress it, it doesnt go away.

Well they turn wild very quickly, some say even overnight, and if in the right environment dogs can survive quite well. In romania street dogs formed packs and were able to take down deer just like wolves. Most pet animals aren't these helpless beings that we think they are. Every animal has an innate drive to survive and that's exactly what they will do given the opportunity.

Geez....some people are absolutely ridiculous. This is a sweet story about a woman who dedicated 3 years of her life to save a dog, and that's what you complain about? People are so annoying. This wasn't a wild dog, living free with it's pack...it was someone's pet that was either lost or discarded. Bless them for helping!
@eyesclosed37095 жыл бұрын
this was indeed the most infuriating animal rescue story ever, she didn't care about the dog she was just doing it to feel like she's a good person for feeding it, otherwise she wouldn't be feeding it plastic for three years bc you can bet the dog did eat parts of the bags while trying to get in them, turning the canyon into a landfill in the process yeehaw
@nightgoggles99315 жыл бұрын
@@isitoveryet9525 Yes, but it's also a danger to the dog. There's no telling how much fucking plastic that dog ate on top of the dog leaving those bags everywhere. They should've just put it in a bowl on the other side of the fence or simply thrown the food over it as is

maybe she had a pack of friends, maybe she was bringing the food to pups? Maybe Lulu's "rescue" aka capture was a catastrophy for them, but the humans had their warm feelings, and apparently, that's all what matters here.

Jay Rock That’s what most people do who rescue dogs most of the time. They rescue them and foster and find them a forever home by letting someone adopt them.
@julichio62414 жыл бұрын
Honestly I also can't understand. You could have kept her and leave her in the place she was loving and considered her territory
@yeehaw40924 жыл бұрын
people who foster adopt the dog out so they can continue to foster. if they keep the dog they’re fostering, that usually means they’re unable to foster anymore due to caring for their own animal they’ve just adopted, they end up caring for too many animals, or they are unable to care financially for the dog for its entire life. not to mention this woman already had a dog, and she just might not have been able to have two. most people who foster continue to foster and let animals go to forever homes so they can meet the next dog, who might be just as amazing and loving! or they might find a dog or cat in another bad situation and take care of them. if they take in the first dog, the second, third, so on may not have a chance or they’d never get to meet them and have these wonderful experiences.
@yeehaw40924 жыл бұрын

I have had two of these, at least I’m nearly damn certain. She is an American Mastiff, her demeanor, the shape and size of her paws, her walk, her black mask, even the way she has greyed. They are loving devoted giants who want to be with their family at all times. Being alone, if I have the breed right, is not comfortable for a Mastiff.
@hck716 жыл бұрын
Super glad she's safe and loved, but why did they feed her food in plastic bags? She could've choked on it or some other animal could have :( or it would just end up being litter. They should have probably used paper bags, much more safe. Still, glad she was rescued and is now safe ❤️
@Anna1331996 жыл бұрын
Or no bags. Just let her eat on the spot, and if she's too afraid to eat in front of people, leave after giving her the food. The last thing we need is more plastic on this planet.
