If you want to store them, I highly recommend not washing them. Letting them dry and then dry brushing the mass amounts of dirt off them will be good enough for dry storage! Amazing harvest!

Your potatoes look amazing! Just a tip, I have four sons and when I planted potatoes I planted a lot of potatoes! Storage was an issue but I found old bread racks, the square plastic trays they haul bread on, stack great allow airflow up and down through the potatoes and let you store them easily in your basement! I got mine from Shipley‘s bakery don’t know who is in your area but might be worth tracking it down!

I had about 20 striped hornworms on my Lantana and my 4-o'clocks near my front door. Half of the garden was gone by the time I noticed that half the garden was gone! When I look closer and saw those monstrous fat 3 inch creatures from our nightmares, I could not believe it and I sure wasn't going to touch them. But no one else was going to do it cuz there's no one else to do it. So I put on some gloves and got myself a coffee can and after filming them and how vigorous and Lively they were trying to get from one branch to the other, I started plucking them off and dumping in the bucket. And I'm not sorry to say that I couldn't kill them but I definitely was taking them to my enemies Garden on a casual walk with a friend as I casually dump them on my route in front of their home! Yeah it was bad but they were bad to me and I didn't feel right killing the poor little worms so they have every chance to live just not in my garden!
