How are you defenceless, exactly? You're not! That was (at least part of) Pat's point. So don't just look for men to help you, but do something yourself: speak up, and/or vote. Even though there will be many men who would help you, the idea of chivalry being dead - that's largely true. Because that's the price of equality. Equal rights means equal responsibility. And so responsibility for your own protection. Even though feminists have been trying to limit personal responsibility for women for decades.

And why overly dramatize by assuming it's always going to be a group? I was reacting to this attitude of presenting oneself as defenceless. Which in our western societies comes down to 'such people having all the rights, but also wanting to be a protected group'. And that doesn't work. Protected persons, or groups are people who allow to, or are made to, have their own responsiblity taken from them, to be put on others. And therefor they can't have the same freedom of movement and have the same rights, as the protectOR group - people who, next to having their own responsiblity, are choosing to, or made to, be responsible for others. If you are responsible for others, by necessity you need to have a say over the people you have to protect/provide. In order to have rights, you need to have your own responsibility. But if the protectED group did have the same rights, and freedoms, then the protectOR group would essentially be slaves to the whim of the protected group. For example: say you are legally mandated to carry the responsiblitiy of protecting and providing your wife (which has been the case in most societies for centuries), does it make sense to allow the wife (or protected group, ftm) to do what she wants, go where she wants, whenever she wants? No, because if she can do what she wants, go where she wants, whenever she wants it, she wouldn't have to tell you where she's going; that being her right. But if something were to happen to her, when she's out, YOU would still be held responsible. Which wouldn't make any sense, because you didn't know where she was. So in order to have been able to protect her (and be responsible for her) you would've had to have gone with her everywhere she wanted to go. Not leaving you much opportunity to actually provide for her. So that doesn't work. How does it actually work? It works, by assigning the protected group, the safest place possible. In the case of women, that would be restricting them to the domestic role. That takes care of the protection part, which frees the protectOR group (men) to go out and get a job, learn a trade, to provide the protectED group. This is how our societies have worked for millenia (with or without government mandates). And before you think this is oppression, no - women went along with this, because it meant relative safety, in a world more dangerous then now. Fast forward to today, women mostly having their own responsiblities, and therefor they are responsible for their own safety. So if they don't feel safe, THEY can do something about it. By taking self defence, or assertiveness classes. Or if they want someone to go with them, if they need to go out, they can ASK me or anyone else to accompany them. I don't want the government coming in, and saying I HAVE TO accompany them, because as I just explained, that would either make me a slave, having to go with them whenever they decide to go out, or it would mean restricting women in their freedoms again, in order to make that work. Meaning that they can't go out, unless a man accompanies them. And what does the latter sound like, to you? Exactly, that's what they do in Islamic countries. Where women can't go out by themselves (or if they do, they have to cover themselves), they can't drive, because that's the responsibility of men, who need to make sure their female family members arrive safely wherever they need to go. So it's not that they can't drive, they don't HAVE TO drive, because they don't have their own responsibilities. And I'm quite sure that none of us want that here, do we? So again, to ask men to protect women, is all fine, as long as we don't forget that it's the women's own responsibility, first and foremost. Ridiculous."_ Indeed, it sounds ridiculous, but I don't know the specifics of the case. All I know is that rape is extremely hard to prove. So unless it's caught on video, or audio, the chance of getting a conviction has dropped severely, because at that point most of the time, it's word against word. So, if there is no physical proof, all the police can do, is to ask questions. And if the situation in Sweden is similar to the UK's, comparing it to let's say Rotherham, if the police are worried about being called racists, then all the more reason for women to speak up. Because both men and women are then more likely to listen. That women being charged with that misdemeanor, is kind of unrelated, it being the only proof of any kind of 'wrongdoing'. It would of course be salt in the wound, if she was truly assaulted.

Dear Mr Condell, I am a German woman of 21 and I am shocked by how indifferent my peers are to this. Yes, I am afraid to go out at night. Yes, I feel uncomfortable on the bus every evening, coming home from University. I did not have to feel this way two years ago. And my surroundings pressure me and themselves into pretending everything is fine. It is not. It is not fine when we are told to keep men at an arm distance from ourselves to solve the problem. It is not fine to leave rape on girls as young as 13 and women as old as 80 nearly free of any consequence or punishment. I always considered myself a feminist and am shocked by the lack of outrage from most feminist groups. They are too comfortable and concern themselves with unimportant things when it is clear that Europe has a huge problem. As a relatively young person and a 'Millenial' I would like to thank you fo your courage to post videos like this one. I have watched almost all of them and am glad to hear someone voice opinions that are so well phrased, rational and eloquent. Many people forbid themselves from daring to think freely when their thoughts enter conservative territory because they are afraid to be called a racist. How absurd to try to shut down critical voices 'in the name of democracy'. I am sad that Britain is leaving the EU. But I applaud its courage: A courage that, sadly, my counry seems to lack. Lastly, why do I have to 'respect' any religion? I tolerate all of them as long as they do not interfere with people's rights or freedom of speech. I can appreciate and admire the culture, architecture and art that was created, inspired by religioin. I find religions deeply interesting from a historical point of view. I respect everyones' right as a human being, but respect all religions, per se, just because they exist? I respect and am friends with people: Muslim peolpe, Communists, Anarchists etc but that doesn'm mean that I respect or am friends with their radical ideologies. Thank you Garbage Man! - I'm appalled by the many comments like those of "Officer of the Watch", who say they have no sympathy with rape victims because they either a) feel they have been rejected by women, or b) believe that "all women" voted for the "wrong party" in whatever elections. For example, in Austria, the President, whose role is only ceremonial, is an ex-Green Party leader and slightly more women than men voted for him. Around 53%, as was his overall percentage. Apparently some brainless men think that therefore ALL of the Van der Bellen supporters were women! - Of course they weren't!! But even if it had been a higher percentage - that is no reason to a) not defend women or b) to insult women or c) to take the side of the rapists! Even before this migrant crisis there was a severe lack of civil courage in Austria and Germany, and the tendency of the courts to take more care of the perpetrator than of the victim existed before also. The only times I have experienced men helping in a situation where a woman was being attacked, these men were either foreigners (e.g. eastern Europeans and Turks), or Austrians from the provinces.

Every single major European country wants an end to Islamic immigration according to Chatham House (Pew Research), and it's not a close run thing. An average of 55% to 20% for and against. The smaller EU nations are much more categorical. Hungary voted 97% in a referendum for no Islamic migration. But the EU and political leaders no longer see it as their job to represent democratic views. They do what they think is best for them or to continue to be voted in and as almost every political party acts like this, there is little choice. Women are majorly responsible for voting in these elitist parties. Why? Not sure, possibly because they act emotionally before thinking long term and logically. Also we have a big problem. Younger generations are incapable of thinking arguments through. They oppose Trump on issues but can't debate them for example. They will put forward contradictory and nonsensical arguments and even when pointed out they don't change their mind, they just want to stop the debate before it hurts their feelings. Another huge problem is that big corporations generally support Islamic immigration, possibly cos it's cheap. And these players own all of the media. There's still a few anti-immigration like the Daily Express. But the broadcast media is not interested in a philosophical discussion on this, they are on board. The best hope is disillusionment with the legacy Mainstream media will turn more and more people to online media.

RealJusticeWarrior The reason the young people in the States support all this is that the public schools and even some of the private schools are teaching this to the young. Look at the text books that the elite took over the printing of many years ago, and even bragged about it. Now with there common core piece of trash curriculum it's mandatory, we need to go back to teaching grammar, logic, and rhetoric again. The elite also pushed to take real power away from your women and replaced it with illusion, sadly they fell for it. The elite wanted your women out of the home and into the workplace years ago for 2 main reasons, one so they could tax them and make themselves richer, and secondly so they could have access to the children at a younger and younger age. Notice when the women did go back into the workforce there was no net gain to the family. You would think with both spouses working a family would get way ahead at least financially, but that did not happen, so we're did the increase go? Into the hands of the elite, housing prices shot up as our country left the gold standard and the last vestiges of a sound money system. Debt increased at an alarming rate, and the children were taught no marketable skills in school, which have compulsory education laws. The children were not even taught basic math, and the countries usury laws and bankruptcy protections were done away with. It was a well laid out plan.

You have to be aware that political class deliberately orchestrated the migration of millions of people from outside cultures into London. Inside two decades the entirety of London was transformed from a British city to a multicultural city where white British are now a minority in their own capital. This was done by the political elite with the help of corporate media elitists without the permission or mandate from the people of England. So it's no surprise that London's massive ethnic population voted for the Labour candidate who will have already have had support from the perennial Labour voters.

Silly me I may be an outsider, but why demand to go to a catholic school if you are not Catholic. I see another video, where British youth are living in tents and on the Streets, getting no help. Saw another video where a girl left care, I assume it's like our foster care, and is going hungry because there is no program for her, she cannot find a job, and is going to school, but needs food. She volunteers at a food bank, and thank God they feed her even though she doesn't have the required note from the government that says she needs help. A social worker suggests she get pregnant to receive aid, she wisely doesn't go for it, she figures if she cannot take care of herself she doesn't want to bring another mouth to feed into the world. It reminds me of our beaurcracy in the states, have your politicians been taking lessons from ours or vice versa? You do have a better safety net then ours, but you need to take care of your native born citizens first.

I grew up being degraded by the Pakistani community and some other minority communities in Peterborough, East Anglia. It helped shape the person I became. I was never entitled to complain.
