That was SO CUTE haha when Yeo got her medal she didn’t know quite what to do with it with all of the excitement and looked to Andrade for guidance and Andrade mimed putting it on to tell her yes, it’s what you’re meant to do and then Yeo put it on. That was so wholesome and shows such great camaraderie, idk why that was just precious. I’m so happy for these girls. Andrade shows that high difficulty doesn’t mean you give up your artistry! She’s wonderful, both as a gymnast and how she is in the sidelines. Glad Skinner finally git her medal although she’s had plenty of her own issues that aren’t very becoming of her and I was a bit surprised by her nonchalant demeanor upon medaling.l.I thought she’d be ecstatic tbh after her ordeal of getting to this point. I’m glad she’s ending her elite career on a high note. Great final ☺️☺️

Andrade has the cleanest vaults and undoubtedly the best vaulter ever.
@adamrjr60023 жыл бұрын
Eh, best vaulter ever is definitely an exaggeration. Best Cheng block ever? Definitely. Overall though is Simone. Top 3 Cheng vaulters: Simone, Rebeca, Cheng Fei Top 3 Amanar vaulters: MacKayla, Simone, Monica Rosu
@wkim223 жыл бұрын
@@adamrjr6002 that's your opinion. Andrade has a perfect shape Cheng and Amanar. She doesn't flexed her feet in the air.
@adamrjr60023 жыл бұрын
@@wkim22 that’s it, just shape? No consideration for height, length, landing angle? For both? It’s possible to be subjective actually, but okay.
@adamrjr60023 жыл бұрын
@Macdealerx definitely, but determining who’s the best vaulter ever is hella tricky. Unless you can do all of Yurchenko, Yurchenko half, handspring, Kaz and Tsuk vaults very well, it’s not easy to say (outside of, y’know, saying “her vault seems perfect to me!”). Yes Simone has never done a Prod but she’s done a wild array of vaults and currently has one that’s valued as high as the Prod and another that will undoubtedly be valued higher, and the vaults she’s done are consistent in quality. That’s why if I had to pick, it’s her.

@@adamrjr6002 as expected, it'll offend some folks and US stans to say the best vaulter is anyone but Biles. Pathetic!

I really hope we get to see a healthy Rebeca v/s Simone on vault someday. Because imo these two have the best technique on vault followed by McKayla Maroney. I'm not an expert but from whatever knowledge I've accumulated over 5 years of following this sport I think Simone's Cheng is a little better overall but not by much. Rebeca has the better block but her landing is a little piked whereas Simone gets more distance and is less piked on the landing. I think their scores would be similar everything would depend on the landing.
@brandonaldaymachuse66693 жыл бұрын
Maroney has the best Amanar. She never competed a Cheng.

@@brandonaldaymachuse6669 Oh ik that. I'm just talking about overall vault technique.
@LoveLaw2 жыл бұрын
Right. Simone’s height and distance as well as her landing will edge out Andrade most days. She’s less piked and usually has better landings. But Andrade is the one closest to Simone. Jade is slightly overscored imo and should score less than Simone and Rebecca.
