-----------------------------------------------------
It is estimated that over 700 million people worldwide suffer from an autoimmune disease…
And if you’re watching this video… chances are you are one of them… or you know someone who is.
Autoimmune diseases are much more prevalent in women than men...
In fact... a recent study suggested that women may make up up to 78% of autoimmune cases.
Living with an autoimmune disease can be:
* Frustrating
* Isolating
* Overwhelming
* And debilitating…
And it’s not always easy to identify...
In fact... There are more than 80 different ways that autoimmune diseases can present in the body.
An autoimmune disease occurs when the immune system confuses healthy cells with harmful bacterias...
And as a result… It attacks healthy organs and tissue in various ways.
For instance, some common autoimmune diseases include…
* Type 1 diabetes… where the immune system attacks the pancreas
* Psoriasis… where it attacks the skin cells
* Multiple sclerosis… where it attacks the nervous system
* And Lupus… which affects tissues and organs.
The list of autoimmune diseases is lengthy...
And to add another layer of complexity to what is already a tricky disease to diagnose…
...The same autoimmune disease can manifest differently in everyone.
Now... It can often take medical practitioners a long time to get a treatment plan in place that works for autoimmune disease…
So many women go looking for ways to manage their symptoms naturally…
But... Can you really rebalance your immune system simply through the FOOD you eat?
Watch our latest video to find out how you can soothe your immune system with 7 incredible foods… Starting with…
Number 7. Sweet Potatoes
Whether you like them:
* Boiled
* Steamed
* Roasted
* Or mashed…
Adding sweet potatoes to your diet may help to calm your immune system.
Number 6. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Olive oil has been at the center of recent studies linked to autoimmune disease.
It is rich in two major components... that play an essential role in managing the inflammation that fuels autoimmune diseases.
Number 5. Sunflower Seeds
Sprinkled over yogurt or salad…
Sunflower seeds are a nutrient-dense food... that pack a powerful punch when it comes to calming your autoimmune disease.
Sunflower seeds shine because they contain vitamin E.
Number 4. Fatty Fish
While all types of fish are considered a healthy addition to any diet…
Fatty fish can be particularly beneficial when you suffer from an autoimmune disease.
* Salmon
* Sardines
* Herring
* Mackerel
* Or Anchovies…
Are all great sources of omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.
These fatty acids inhibit inflammatory marker C-reactive protein…
Which has shown to aggravate autoimmune reactions.
Number 3. Mushrooms
When you have autoimmune disease…
It is often recommended that you cut back your consumption of meat and dairy.
However… cutting back means that you’re likely to have a Vitamin D deficiency…
Which can aggravate your symptoms.
Number 2. Green Tea
Rich with detoxing and anti-inflammatory properties…
Green tea is considered one of the healthiest drinks available to us… thanks to its healing power.
But.. Can this hot drink have a soothing impact on your immune system?
Let’s find out.
Number 1. Turmeric
It seems that controlling the chronic inflammation in the body... Is the key to calming the immune system.
And turmeric may be one of the best spices for autoimmune balance. (11)
This golden spice has recently been tested against a wide variety of autoimmune diseases…
And the results are promising.
And there you have it...
7 incredible foods that help to calm autoimmune disease.
Which of these foods have you already tried? And what has surprised you?
Share your autoimmune experiences with someone else in the comments below.

One size doesn't fit all. These autoimmune diseases all begin in our guts. Believe it and do your research please, everyone. I learned this the hard way as I've been studying this for many years. There is much to learn and understand. This video is good on many levels. But not for everyone bc if you're not absorbing nutrients, you won't absorb vitamins. So, you still need to find the cause of the reason why one may not be absorbing nutrients and vitamins. Than, go from there. All the best to ALL.🙂✌️

I suspect I do not absorb nutrients well, I eat healthily now, lots of fiber and mostly healthy foods- but had a bad diet for years. I am very thin and cannot put on weight whatever I eat. I don't have a bad auto immune disease yet but do get stiff hands and joints. My digestion has always been a problem. Do you have any answers to improving vitamin and nutrient absorption?

I too have had RA since 2015. You can help by giving up gluten, dairy. very little sugar, corn, tomatoes, peppers and aubergine. Eat 5 to 7 portions of veg and 2 to 3 fruit a day. Try to eat whole foods and avoid as much processed food if possible. Fish and good quality grass-fed meat can also help. look into Leaky gut and how to heal it. I wish you lots of luck - the pain can be awful. Many people say ' I have osteo as well' and they don't understand that Rheumatoid is very different,

Sorry to hear that. Keep researching. There can be hidden infections in your mouth. I had teeth that had been root canal treated removed and amalgam fillings removed safely by an holistic dentist. This also reduced my inflammation but it is expensive. There are some good books written about autoimmune by functional medicine doctors that can give far more advice than I can. Wishing you better health

Helpful list, But the most important factor is Vitamin D, Its deficiency is linked to autoimmune diseases and being prevalent in women explain it because men occupy the vast majority of jobs that require Sun exposure for hours daily, While women tend to work in closed places. Any way to correct the deficiency is no easy task and you actually need way more than the recommended daily dose of Vitamin D in order to gain normal blood levels, You need 10,000 IU of D3( not D2) and you better take 100 mcg of vitamin K2 with it to avoid calcification of the arteries, D3 and k2 work together to absorb calcium in the bones. Vitamin D regulates the immune system, And there have been studies that link autoimmune diseases with a virus, Viruses, in general, find it easy to invade a body that is deficient in vitamin D.

All these autoimmunes have a strong origin in one's intense reactive negative emotions to situations in their life where they had no control on. Rather ..the cuase is outside them but effect is on them.The inner self keeps screeming for solutions and help. Thought process reversal , Yoga breathing,yogasan and meditation is the best primary self help. Food n vitamin stuff can b a good guide provided conscious choices are based on one's own experience. I make turmeric paste and take it daily. My husband suffers from osteoarthritis in both knees and needs both of them replaced but won’t do it. He swears by turmeric paste and says it works better than the prescription anti inflammatory drugs they once prescribed him. Here is the recipe if anyone is interested. Turmeric paste: 1/4 cup organic powdered turmeric spice 1 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 cup water Mix all ingredients in a saucepan and heat over medium heat until slightly thickened and paste like. Remove from heat and let cool. When cool, store in a glass jar in the refrigerator. To use, place one teaspoonful into a small glass of juice or water, stir and drink. Take once or twice daily. Cheers to good Heath.

Thank you for sharing such an informative video! The only thing I would add is if you're on (ACE) inhibitors - High Blood Pressure Medication watch your potassium intake. I've been told to cap potassium at 2000 mg per day but, I'd still talk with your doctor to get their recommendation. ACE inhibitors can cause elevation of potassium and worsen renal function. Sunflower Seeds 903 mg per cup, Sweet Potatoes 448 mg per cup. White Mushrooms 57 mg 1 medium mushroom, a 6-ounce serving of sockeye salmon delivers 20 percent of the daily value for potassium. Yellowfin tuna provides 26 percent of the daily value for potassium per 6-ounce serving.

I just diagnosed with hepatiti autoimmune disease and dr put me on prednisone for two years and just added cellcept 1000mg a day . My liver enzymes came to normal after three weeks of taking prednisone but I don’t understand why should I be in so much medication for such along time ? Maybe my whole life . I’m s it possible diet and eating good good is helping with not talking medication? I am woman and 61 years old . Please respond because this diagnose made my life miserable. They saying that my liver is healthy , no fibrosis or scare. I was diagnosed like three months ago. Thank you

Hi, Speaking from the point of view of a 74 year old male who to all intents and purposes seemed healthy enough until last year - when in January, working on digging some post holes for a fence for a dog run on a rural property I suddenly got severe pain in the right wrist and it began to swell up and was so painful I had to hastily abandon camp, drop everything - leaving a portable generator and all my tools on the site and attempt to drive a manual ute home to my place in another rural town 120 ks away for help as where I was working there was no phone communication, it was nearing sunset and by the time I got my Boxer Staffy and myself home to my Son's place I was in excruciating pain and could hardly move my hand and wrist at all. Rushed off to a doctor and hospital it was determined that I had an excess of Acid in the joints triggered by the pounding of a heavy crowbar - and treated accordingly with meds to reduce the sudden flare up of inflammation - but I'd been doing similar work before that occasion and hadn't any problems before then. I was not given any diagnosis or explanations other than that - but a month or so later got extremely ill and had severe mobility issues - so much so that at 3 AM one morning had to be rushed off to a Melbourne city hospital, having nearly died from going into shock and the necessity of waiting for an ambulance to arrive for at least an hour that night. When the paramedics arrived they couldn't move me or even get me out of the bed and had to use equipment that is normally used for Paralyzed patients with back injuries to finally slide my onto their gurney for transportation and the meds given hardly contained the extreme pain and I was nearly passing out with it. It took two weeks of treatment in the city hospital so that I could reach a point of limited mobility to be able to be discharged from hospital as the cause was undiagnosed due to the severe lock downs and quarantine procedures in place because of Covid - which I didn't have - but oddly enough, the ward I was was in was sandwiched in between 2 covid infectious ones and I was unable to get any sleep there due to unruly and noisy patients - left mostly unchecked because of the shortage of medical staff and security staff to deal with issues at nightime. Released from Hospital and still with severe mobility Issues I was finally diagnosed by a local GP in my rural town as having sudden onset full blown Rheumatoid Arthritis. Another two weeks treatment in the local hospital with eventually being prescribed Methotrexate and Prednisolone and physical therapy for control of the Arthritis I was able to return home and have continued with the prescribed meds BUT Still have issues with the medications causing some unwanted side effects that are troubling and even as I write this I have some pain in my Liver region so would like to get away from the Toxic Drug Methotrexate IF possible and see If there are any natural organic foods that can serve to mitigate or remove the ongoing but inevitable damage of the current big pharma Medical treatment regimes in place at present. So Autoimmune diseases, even in males, is a serious health issue - the likes of which is seemingly only controlled by toxic drugs. I know this is a women's channel only but I'm thinking that whatever works for women should also work for men - Am I right or not? Incidentally, where can you possibly find a source of uncontaminated, by waste products, ongoing radiation from Fukushima in contaminated oceanic fatty fish - that may even contain high levels of plastic contaminants in their flesh or even some levels of mercury that is never mentioned anymore as a contaminant - even in possible fish oil supplements that you are recommending? 🙃

Soloman, molecularly distilled fish oil has zero mercury or toxic chemicals. Its the only kind I use. Eating dark leafy greens with wild fish binds the mercury so we dont absorb it Ive read. Wow thats a bad RA story! good luck to you. Covid has my immune system messed up. Will get blood work done soon for autoimmune markers.

Hi Soloman..... I agree with the Fukashima issue... its another toad in the water😮 Sorry for all your trauma. From my experience I would suggest you cut out all Gluten and Grains immediately including rice, pastas, breads and even seeds. Abstain for a week at least and notice how your body and mind are coping. Isolating a gluten intolerance will help clarify the Rheumatoid issues. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

The USRDA is based upon the amounts of vitamins to keep you from having a disease, which can be far from actually being your best and most healthy. So, at least triple the RDA amounts to truly be your most healthy.
