Hi Baitcaster, what a great video, those wood pellets burn super great. It might be worth me taking some of those pellets along with me on one of my adventures for a backup in case my gas fails in some way. Thanks for braving the snow and showing us how its done. Have a great weekend from Johanna, Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA

Nice one Chris, many hours of fire time with that big bag of wood pellets they will last your for ages. Rain on a tarp sounds really relaxing too.

THE QUIET CYCLIST, yes lol..That bag will make plenty of brews. I know what you mean about rain on a tarp, its like natures music to us outdoor addicts. atb, chris.

Hi Chris🖐 I love that little tarp, recognised it from an earlier vid. Brilliantly set up mate .. I think I have the same stove, lixada. Amazingly efficient and like you say very stealthy because of its secondary burn. Brilliant vid mate, did a cracking job of showing us the stove. Top vid yet again 🌳🌳👍🌳🌳 Atvb Mike

Black Country Woodsman. cheers mate🖒, yes cracking little stove. Just treated myself to a 3m x3m DD tarp cant wait to try it out..Just a quick question mate do you fold your tarp or just stuff it..watched that many video's on packing up a tarp not sure how to store it now? some say stuff it l, some say fold it..any advise would be appreciated. Thanks mike, atvb. chris...

Baitcaster Hi mate, it's all down to preference....Some say that if you fold the tarp especially the same way every time you pack away that it causes weakness in the folds...So some fold, some just stuff it in the sack...Me I fold, i get the tarp way smaller than just scrunching it up. I fold two different ways. I've folded one of my DD tarps for around 5 years now (green 3x3) and no leaks...Hope that helps Chris

Baitcaster Welcome Chris, another thing that's worth doing is keeping the tarp in a dry bag...You know the sort I mean, the type that roll down and buckle clip together. That way obviously if you're putting a soaking tarp away in your main pack it won't soak everything else. Have a good day mate Atvb Mike
