Not any more dangerous than any other living condition. Houses catch fire all the time too. Hiding our homeless doesn't make them go away. Just makes us feel better about ourselves.

Only 70 years ago that would have been considered a home. Heck in most countries in this world that's still considered a home. Your idea of a home is working to death to pay a landlord $2000 a month.

I think it is more about them needing to stop price gaging how the h*** can somebody charge Is 900 1200 dollars for a one bedroom apartment this is ridiculous Stop raising minimum wage so the price of everything else will stop going up Breast people throw them in f****** jail for charging money like that for rent
@adrianas43412 жыл бұрын
Let me guess, city officials are going to take their “homes” apart? Homelessness needs to be addressed but where do they suggest they go? This is America right? Can’t be the greatest country until we’re helping even the homeless people find a place to live if they don’t want them living like this.
@everss022 жыл бұрын
they'll have a meeting to decide how they can profit the most from it and increase budgets, two weeks later twice as many homeless will be there

BS, they don’t want to live like this. They’re in this situation because they made awful choices. The number of folks homeless due to plain bad luck is statistically insignificant.

A lot of them don't want it. I'm a first responder who deals with them every day at work. The ones who want to make their lives better and who are willing to put in the work are far and few between. Life isn't easy but these people don't want any responsibility at all
@pieterveenders9793 Жыл бұрын
@@pimmyflores8739 As a first responder you should know that a lot of them have untreated mental issues, which with the US having the worst healthcare system in the Western world and almost no social safety net probably explains why it suffers from such a homelessness crisis.

2024.........read a great story about a young guy a fellow with some education in design, this was not in the USA,..but a foreign country. He built an amazing hidden dwelling under a highway bridge. He had built a special fold down set of steps,...., parts of his (hut),....rolled along the concrete under bridge supports,....he had a bed, a camping stove, sleeping bag, flash lights,.....this was before the tech boom. It was in a warm country.
