Wood turning Beer Mug from American Black Walnut

In this video, I create Beer Mug. I am turning American black walnut and woodturning it into a beer mug. Woodturning beer mug is one of my best projects. I made few of this beer mugs with wood turning already and I am planning to do more, even with epoxy resin. for hot drinks, such as tea and coffee, I usually use epoxy resin coating. If you don't like epoxy, it can be coated with Propolitura, which is completely natural, but Propolitura or any other coating that isn't epoxy is removed over time but you can still drink from mug.

Why start of with such an uncylinder shape on the lathe? You could have saved a ton of time by just lengthwise cutting off those 4 corners.
