Even with a delicate touch, that glue ought to be commended.
@Luckingsworth4 жыл бұрын
Wood glue is stronger than wood itself. That bond is strong enough to withstand much higher forces.
@Luckingsworth4 жыл бұрын
@Max Paine Use the proper glue. Not all glue is meant for all surfaces. Properly prep the surface by cleaning it thoroughly, ending with a wipe with 99% isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry completely, and use the proper glue for the surface. Certain surfaces might also need to be scuffed up with sand paper prior to final cleaning.
@ClubPenguinMaster884 жыл бұрын
@@Luckingsworth Think about how thin the contact is, though, even if it were just wood, no glue, it would have a rough time holding together. Certainly wouldn't take any sort of forces.

At the beginning I thought, "This isn't the precise guy I am used to seeing". Then it began to look better. Then the spin started and I thought no way it will hold together. And during the whole thing I was on the edge of my chair. Hey, wood turning is supposed to be soothing, not nerve wracking, and I was just watching. And then you said you wanted it thinner. I just knew it was going to come apart. Well it didn't and it's finished and now I can finally relax. I can only imagine how you felt when it was over. Thanks for another VERY interesting visit to the Humphrey shop.
