25 years later and I still can’t figure out the difference of to and too. Actually had to pause this video half way through. Somehow you triggered a regular childhood occurrence. It always started off the same way. Sitting at the table with my dad, doing homework. It started off with him trying to explain the problem to me. After a bit he would get flustered, because no matter how many times he explained it to me, I still couldn’t grasp the logic. Slowly he would grow annoyed of my stupidity and the anger would start flowing through his blood. As soon as I sensed his anger I’d just break down sobbing, and give up. The more he tried to push it into my mind the more I’d cry. Then SNAP!! He’d rip me from my chair & kick the shit out of me and go to bed fuming. Now I can’t even watch a simple video without feeling like a loser. Thanks for reminding me how stupid I am. I hate my life

Mostly true, though sometimes people just make mistakes when they are typing quickly. For example....* older than
@jamesr.2017
@jamesr.2017 6 жыл бұрын
Technically, older than is not grammatically incorrect. It depends how you use it. I'm older than you.= wrong I was older than. = right. Although that's technically correct, it makes no sense.
@WoodwardEnglish
@WoodwardEnglish 6 жыл бұрын
Older THAN is correct... OLDER is a comparative so after it you need THAN not THEN. The reason I mention it is because you wrote "older then 12" it should be "older than 12" Check out my notes about comparatives and superlatives: www.grammar.cl/Intermediate/Comparatives_Superlatives.htm
