Nice one Phil. Looks like you got a good spot there. A bonus that the weather cleared up for you like that too. I’ve been down that steep route to get back to the foot of Grindsbrook Clough before. About half way down it suddenly gets very steep doesn’t it. Nice when you get to the path though. Thanks for sharing and great video. All the best. Gav

I saw some people coming down it the week before and thought they must be mad! We could have walked round and come down the Nab, but this looked like more fun. Cheers Gav.

It's such a magical place John, but there are hardly any folklore tales because people were banned from there for 150 years.

Great camp spot. Woolpacks for me is always synonymous with wading through muddy peat but the rock formations are ace. Lanshan tent - the pole should not be moving- did you sort out the problem ? You maybe didn't have enough tension on the main guy lines ?
@PhilWaud3 ай бұрын
Yes Andy, sorted it thanks mate. The peat bog wasnt too bad at all, but most of the water sources were dry. I saw a video about five days after and Crowden Clough was a right torrent, Id hate to have seen the peat bogs then!

Hi Phil, thanks for another great video, the Woolpacks is like another planet, amazing place! Did you enjoy the Kakawa? I love most beers I've tasted from Thornbridge brewery, especially their Cocoa Wonderland, beautiful stuff.

@@GlossopwildcampWoolpacks is just surreal, amazing place. The beer was alright, nothing to dislike really, but I prefer stronger darker beers, give me an old peculier any day! Thanks for watching Brian!

@@68bee yeah, the Woolpacks in particular is like an alien world. I camped there once in thick fog with six foot visibility, I swear the rocks were following me around! Thanks for the comment, and watching!
