@@drewcook5347 I picked out what I loved most and what I gravitated to the most which for me was art and knitting. My mom died 5 years ago while I was in the middle of making her a hat (she had cancer), and I haven’t knitted since. I finally gave it all away including the unfinished hat. I don’t miss it, so now I have room for a second hobby if I want. But right now art fulfills all of my creative needs.

@drewcook5347 Not sure if it would work for anyone else, but I love Pinterest for hobby "collecting". I can obsess over this and that, and learn and add to each board, sometimes expanding into multiple sub categories, but it's all digital! When the time comes to venture into the actual physical hobby, I'll be well equipped, digitally! Hope that made sense! 😊😅😂

Bea - thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! I, too, need to limit what projects I get involved in. (not just hobbies) I have: - 4 projects of unfinished painting projects, around my house - a 6 ft cat tower to finish assembling - a bookcase 1/2 stained - 8 dining room chairs 1/2 way reupholstered -a cabinet for my sewing machine still IN a box (bought it over 2 years ago!!!) . . . I am going to "clean up" my act + NOT take on anymore projects!! I enjoy how funny you make some every day "hurdles"!! ❤ you!

Best investment I’ve made for my gardening shenanigans is a pop up greenhouse from Amazon. The seedlings inevitably get too big to be inside before they are ready to be put in the elements. But the greenhouse provides the perfect environment to harden them off to the outdoors those last few weeks. Just put mine out yesterday and it feels awesome to have my dining room table back

The same thing started happening to me when I started incorporating sunscreen. I found out that it was because I needed to start double cleansing because the sunscreen is so powerful that it doesn’t wash off with regular cleanser so I incorporated an oil based cleanser .I started using oils of life by the body shop to remove my make up and sunscreen then I wash my face with a moisturizing or hydrating cleanser and then after I rinse that off, I wash with my normal acne cleanser, and that helped tremendously

It is interesting you say this because when you first posted the baby chicks and building a run, I thought "she is taking on a lot of hobbies." I was that way too years ago, but I realized I was seeking some sort of sense of achievement, but the stuff would often just lay around or I would become a bit less interested. For sunscreen, I love the Shiseido clear stick. It doesn't leave a residue on my face, my glasses etc. I would say try a few different sunscreens before settling on any specific one.

Ahhh yes the very common yet less known symptom of adhd the hobby hoarding. Hi I'm guilty lol. I haven't crafted in ages and want to but I refuse to buy craft supplies because I'm inundated with house work and keeping up on that. Not enough time. So right now my hobbies are - coloring, making some asmr style videos for my other channel, reading old books- not collecting any more since I don't read the ones I have lol and kindle books, self care stuff, baking and cooking new recipes. There's a million hobbies I want to do but don't have space to start collecting supplies for. That's like one area of my adhd life I have a handle on 😂.

You didn’t ask for it but my ‘simple’ but effective routine is: micellar water (granite brand, all in one mattifying) in the morning to remove overnight lotion without drying out my face the way that washing it twice a day does: Cerave daytime lotion which has SPF 30 in it, then at night cleanse using cerave gentle foaming cleanser and Versace nighttime moisturizing lotion. Bonus points: I also LOVE the la Roche-posay anthelios UVMune 400 SPF 50+ for a face sunscreen. It is a bit pricey for a small bottle but I swear the bottle lasts soooo long and it’s the only sunscreen that hasn’t really messed with my skin much. Bonus bonus: I use the Paula’s Choice BHA exfoliant 1-2 times a week at night, just be sure to use lots of sunscreen and hydration with lotion the next day Bonus bonus bonus: I’ve also started using the vichy vitamin c serum once a week at night, and I think it helps but also I’m still a bit unsure if it actually does something but at least it doesn’t harm anything. Also requires lots of sunscreen and hydration the next day (I also recognize that I have good genes but also think less can be more when I comes to skincare so just the three ceraves and micellar water are all I really need)
@floriannaramirez394

Good routine, the only thing I would say is to use Vitamin C serum in the morning, it's supposed to strengthen sun protection, and some other stuff I don't remember now lol. Also you try using it every other day, and if you have good results, you can use it on the daily.

I'm super reactive to just about any sunscreen, but so far what seems to be working for me is the La Roche-Posay Anthelios Melt-In Milk Body and Face Sunscreen SPF 60. So far it doesn't seem to be making me break out, but I only wear it occasionally. Also, those acne patches definitely don't work with cystic acne, and I could see how they might make it worse if they close up the pores. They are better with acne that has a white head. Even then they're not miracle cures, but I do find that they make things a little better.

I think when our hobbies get as disorganised as yours are at the moment, it's a great indicator to us that something is up and we have to change it. Hobbies are great and there's nothing wrong with flitting between them, the ADHD brain often craves it, but we can spiral if we're not careful to tend to our needs. A reset is always good and when you're craving it there is just so much satisfaction that comes with cleaning up or organising. It's like a little braingasm

Once I moved my brooders out of the house my mood lifted immensely too. It is super stressful and overstimulating having them in the house. For me, at least. I learned over time that birds survive outside without people keeping an eye on them constantly. 😂 If it isn’t dropping way below freezing at night, they are truly going to be happiest in the coop at night and run during the day- as long as they have a warm dry spot to get to if needed, they’ll be just fine.

Guuurl, I can't wear daily suncreen because I, too, get deep cystic, painful acne when I do. I've tried at least 30 American sunscreens. I can use Bare Minerals mineral powder foundation, which has 15 SPF, so I hope that helps. And if I'm out in the sun for hours, I will go ahead and use a Korean 50 SPF just for the day, but nope, can't use it daily like we're supposed to. I wish I could. You might try Korean sunscreens. I like the Isntree 50+ and the Haruharu Mineral Rice sunscreen or something like that, it's called. I was able to wear those two (in separate experiments) daily for about 2 weeks -- with no acne -- but then even those caused some acne for me. YMMV!

Ants bites can actually hurt quite a bit. I am thankful not be living near the rainforest where anta bites are deadly. My oldest lives in hoodies sometimes. She likes to get them sized up. Over here in England, the big thing is snoodies, blankets, and hoodies combined together. They are super soft, baggy, and warm. People love them.

"am I worse than everyone else" killed me 😂😂😂 I really like the super goop sunscreen, it's a little pricey but the consistency is so good and doesn't make me break out. It does well under makeup too

Is your lil' garden meditation patio thing still in existence, or did it get sacrificed for the purpose of chicken run? :)

I loved the video where she made that meditation garden. It's one of my Bea favorites. That, and the one where she made a a yoga studio in the basement so the Squad could come and try yoga.

I’m curious how you keep the dogs and cat out of the chicken cage? How have they reacted to the chickens?

pimple patches at least for me draw the pimple to the surface and then you keep using the patches once the pimple has surfaced then it draws the stuff out.
