I really liked the character Kurn. I was disappointed when they ended his story arc with the memory wipe on DS9. I was hoping to see him again.

DS9 was a great show with a lot of great plots. But how they dealt with Kurn is one of its biggest sores. The most dedicated of the Klingons to disappear so honourless. Real shame.

I would have preferred an alternate reality where he plans to assassinate Gowron. Stalking him down in a quiet dark corridor guards lay dead on the floor around. As Gowron turns around with those wild eyes he sees the the shadowy figure of Kurn. He says GGGOOOWWWRROOONNN much like he said Helen in Candyman with the echo. Gowron shouts for help as Kurn closes the gap. When Gowron knows he must fight he pulls his bat'leth but loses after a series of blows. Kurn lowers his weapon and with his rage now subsiding says "honor has been satisfied".

His guys acting is really subtle and understated. He's being superficially diplomatic but because he's not actually there for his stated purpose. His faux passes feel legit because of this. What I’m surprised about is Worf not recognizing or even suspecting Kurt was his brother given the fact it is canon that Klingon forehead ridges are very similar or the same when it runs in the family lines.
