I only had a far quarter of that yellow in the quilt. But I do think that would give an interesting effect.

Could you do a video on how you cut your pieces? Do you line up with the lines on the cutting mat or do you place the line on your ruler to the edge of the fabric?

I use the mark on the mat to get an initial straight edge, then use the marks on the ruler to cut my strips
